Chapter 30 Lynn stared at her reflection, tilting her head and frowning when she saw the still visible bruises. A public book signing was honestly not what she wanted to do, but she needed to get back out there. She had promised her fans, and the signing had already been rescheduled once after the incident. There was no way she was rescheduling it again because of a few bruises. Exhaling slowly, she applied a bit more concealer across the pronounced bruise on her cheek and then added a slight smudge of blush on each side. Frowning, she shook her head. “I look like a damn clown.” “True, you do look like a clown.” Lynn turned to see Katie standing in the door way, arms crossed, and an amused look on her face. “Would you rather be sporting this,” Katie gestured towards her swollen abdomen.
