Most of the drive back to my house had been quiet and it hadn't been until we were about three blocks away that Jake decided to speak to break the silence. "So umm... That's the ex?" He glanced over at me for a moment before putting his eyes back on the road. "Yeah." I answered as I frowned a little to myself. "He wanted me to get back with him." I had no clue why I'd told him such a personal thing. "Sorry for oversharing." I added as I looked over at him, blushing in the darkness of the car. Jake laughed quietly from his seat as I noticed him shaking his head a little. "We're even on the oversharing thing, I guess you could say." I couldn't help but laugh as well at his comment and turned to look out the window to realise that Jake had slowed down now that we were only two blocks away
