Chapter 24
Tori pulled up in the street, as the music was loud enough that we could hear it on the street, but no one seemed to bat an eyelid at it. I got out and walked next to Tori, as I couldn't pull my eyes away from the woods, as something just felt off and I couldn't put a finger on why. I knew I should have followed my instincts on the matter and left then and there, but against my better judgement, I went into the party with Tori. "It looks like Dan's here. Wonder who he's brought." She glanced across at me with a grin on her face, as if she were trying to provoke a reaction, but my head just wasn't in that frame of mind.
