It was a cold and dark night. Lightning loomed over the dark skies. Out of all the ordinary days this was the worst. A night where I wished that it never occurred.
I pulled her cold body into mine and cradled her in my arms. She was hurt so badly there were bruises upon her thigh, neck, and shoulders. She was so cold and wet. How long was she here out by the river? Hesitantly, I move my hands towards her chest, and mournful tears in my eyes came out as a result.
I rocked her in my arms and cried painfully as the rain drenched away my tears that had fallen off my face and the thunders silenced my screams.
I could only whimper at the loss of my lover and kissed her softly at the cold and ruthless darkness. My head was filled with thoughts of her and how I could've saved her, but I didn't.
Instead, I killed her!
