LETHIA
The color on Calix face fades away turning pale turning deadly becoming as white as the dead can be. She puts her hand on the table for support but fails falling onto the floor as she puts her hand over to her head screaming in agony. I wanted to run up to Calix to help her but the ring glowed dangerously red that it astral projects a girl sleeping on the ground with many grassy plains and flowers wearing a white noodle strip dress but what's more eerie is that the girl looks exactly like me but with pink hair.
"A-amy," Calix panted opening her eyes reaching for the girl in the astral projection but the pain in her head was hurting so bad that she screamed again barely making it to the girl who was sleeping. Tears flooded her eyes. I dropped down to Calix, but she pushed me aside surprising me unknowing if this was on purpose or an accident. I grabbed onto Calix I wanted to help her, but this time I was sure she was doing this on purpose when her hands slaps mine away as she crawled up to the sleeping girl.
"I'm sorry." Calix said. Trying to reach for her fingers but it disappeared with a single touch turning into thousands of shards fading away. Calix looked like she was in shocked trying to catched those shards in her hands, but they just disappeared into the air with just a touch. Her body trembled her hand shakes and her head face onto the ground with palms of her hand out she stares at it very slowly the shards almost disappeared entirely but Calix looked broken. "Please... don't leave me." She whispers.
Antonio just stood there watching like he was giving her space that she needs. I wanted to do the opposite but Antonio stops me shaking his head. I listened, but a suddenly another screamed broke out of Calix and this time it wasn't the cry of a person who was missing another person but a real cry of physical pain. This time Antonio and I ran beside Calix. "My back," Calix panted. "H-hurts." She lifts up her shirt and in that moment Antonio and I was surprised a mark was appearing on her lower abdomen like someone was drawing and burning this mark on her skin. Calix seethe in pain. When the mark finished Antonio and I looked at each other.
"What's happening to me?" Calix groaned. "What is it? What's there?"
The markings and its drawings I've seen it on my masters desk. Could it because of this mark that my master wanted to kill him. Everything has been so confusing to me. I stare at the symbol more clearly this was beyond unbelievable its beyond what a realist could comprehend only those who really are superstitious to stay sane. I didn't know what to think and how to react. I took a deep breath. "Owl." I said. "You have a picture of an owl onto your back but there is more. There was a moon behind the owl who is standing onto a twig."
"What does it mean?" Calix questioned.
"It means we are going to we are going to meet someone who knows this mark," Antonio said. "And I know who?" The both of us looked up at Antonio and I knew he was trying to adapt to this situation. As he lets out a sigh. "I can't believe I am doing this," he whispered before taking in another breath. "My aunt is a fortune teller she said she possessed a gift from god that allows her to see a person future through touch. People used to call my aunt crazy but after what happened. I think I maybe crazier. Anyways, I'll be booking a flight of you and me to japan to meet my aunt."
"Your aunt is a japanese?" Calix asked.
"No she's an immigrant there. C'mon I'll book a flight to Japan as soon as possible and you're in it including Lethia, I assume you have a passport." I nod. "Great!" He took out his phone and we filled our forms and everything was submitted to book our flight to Japan the day after tomorrow.
The next day I wore back my assassin uniform. I headed back to Diamond Institution to get back my passport in my bedroom without I can't fly to Japan with Calix and his friend. I used a secret passage one that I know of and had never told anyone.
Once I was at the site from the back of the industry there was a loose brick once pressed a door will appear. I found like this back when I was young by accident when my fellow assassin was jealous that I have knack and talent to learn moves quickly and how my master loves me because I was very obedient, but now things had changed. It was my master fault for wanting to kill me. Now I am no longer an assassin but a normal human being living to enjoy the peace that life has offered up to me.
I headed inside pushing once pushing that brick. I headed in there fast before the wall returned back to what it was. I walked on the hall orange light was left buzzing serving that it was old. It stinks down here as usual flies was swarming around the place. I headed up the stairs staying alert. Once I was up there I know that I was at my master room. This was a secret path for our master to go through. I peaked inside the room to see that my master wasn't there. Once I made sure of it I headed inside.
"Hello Lethia," a voice said.
I turned around. "Master?"
She smiles her emerald eyes shown sitting on her chair like she was waiting for my return. "Lethia, my young assassin. I have missed you so much."
"You don't miss me," I heard myself say. Since when did I get so bold, but in reality my hands were actually trembling from fear. "You told Mauren to kill me."
"But you're alive aren't you? Didn't Calix take the blade for you?" her red luscious lips smile. She may look appealing and sexy but in reality she is a cruel b***h who likes to see blood and torment other people.
"What if she didn't take the blade for me, master? I would have died."
"There is no way that she'll let any harm come to you after all you look too much alike to her dead girlfriend."
"Dead girlfriend?"
"Oh. Yes. Didn't Calix tell you her girlfriend actually died in a case of rape and murder? She goes by the name of Amy Nora. Calix had lived in sorrow and guilt of her girlfriend, but I'll skip the details because in time Calix will once again falls in love with the face of her beloved and then she trust enough she'll tell you everything. You, Lethia you will be my greatest and most perfect assassin once everything has been revealed you will be left with only a choice that will leave you scarred for eternity. Oh? And is this what you're looking for?" She took the passport out of the drawer and threw it to me as I catch it. She smiles and I have no idea what she was planning nor do I have any idea as to what she is saying. "Please say hi to Miyami Nanako for me."
