After catching Rizzo glancing at her cleavage back at the diner, LaDawn decides to change into something more comfortable. It's an effort to keep this relationship professional. "I'm gonna go change" LaDawn calls over her shoulder, leaving Rizzo standing in her living room. LaDawn returns in faded blue jeans, a white t-shirt and her old black van's. She is met with Rizzo still standing in the same spot and waiting patiently for her. "oh, feel free to read it" LaDawn chuckles as she motions toward her computer Rizzo nods and takes a seat in front of the screen. "I guess if I need some sugar I'll ask you" Rizzo says jokingly "excuse me?" LaDawn is confused "yea, my condo is across the hall" Rizzo turns to her with a sparkle in his eye and returns his gaze to the screen. Rizzo's POV Rizzo was only on chapter 5 of LaDawn's novel and he couldn't believe what he was reading. "Steve's step-father suddenly passed at a young age. The sudden loss made Steve realize he needed more out of life. He went searching for a better career path and soon found it. He followed it across state lines......... Steve met her at a bar... it was meant to be a one night stand.... from the moment Steve heard her moan his name he knew he could never lay with another." Rizzo flung his chair around to look at LaDawn. "What the f**k!?" Rizzo exclaimed "Is it terrible?" LaDawn asks while being clueless as to what he was talking about "YES" Rizzo says, all but screaming. "And I would know because it's MY life. My step-father passed. I got the job with your dad. I moved here for this job!" Rizzo stopped for a moment, breathless. "Did Nate put you up to this? Did he tell you to write about my tragedy of a life? Is this all a sick joke?" "Absolutely not!" LaDawn says sternly. My father would have to show interest in what I do in order for him to put his two cents in. I started this novel 1 year ago. I wrote this from my heart and mind. If it just so happens to be similar to your life that's news to me!" LaDawn replies, standing her ground. I must sound insane. How is this possible? "I'll be back tomorrow. I just need a minute." Rizzo explains while grabbing his jacket and shutting the door behind him. Rizzo is furiosly walking down the street in the sudden downpour of rain. He stops for a moment to reflect. It's possible that I just made a complete ass out of myself. After all I didn't have a one night stand with a stranger from a bar. I'd definitely remember the feeling that was described in LaDawn's novel. Rizzo continues walking, heading to his hotel to turn in for an early night. LaDawn's POV LaDawn is getting ready to make an appearance at Cookies. As she is touching up her makeup and refreshing her curls she's having an internal argument with herself. What the hell was Rizzo freaking out about? There is no way I ,in fact wrote about his life, I just met him today. But I do feel like I've known him before. That's not possible though because I wouldn't have ever forgotten his eyes. Rizzo's eyes. What are the chances I see the same eyes in my dream? LaDawn bursts out of the bathroom and scrambles to her computer. Her eyes dart around the screen as she scrolls down. "Kay feels her panties slowly wetten as she stares into Steve's eyes. Kay isn't even listening to the words he says. She is fully absorbed counting the flecks of gold hidden in his eyes. It's hard for her to fully appreciate them in this dim bar, at the same time she'd love to end the night in a darker setting." LaDawn stops reading as she is starting to realize the unexplainable. "What the f**k"
