Seeing and Meeting Miles For The First Time

It's been a since I stopped working for Mr Muleya and I think I love my new job and yes it's better than the old one, though I miss Mr Muleya, he's a bit funny and we used to get along so well.

Lauren and I always have lunch together since our working place is just next to each other.

"Lauren, it's lunch time and I'm starving. Let's go grab our lunch" I tell her, my stomach grumbles. "Alright, I know you're a food lover and so am I. your stomach is grumbling hahaha" she laughs at me and before she can finish laughing,. her stomach decides to support me as it also grumbles. "Look who's laughing" I smirk at her. "Yeah right, let's go before I faint" stands up from her sit and grabs her phone from the table.

we go to our all time favourite restaurant, we order our food and in few minutes we get served. I'm so hungry, I don't wait for another minute when I see my food, I dig in already. Lauren is still pressing her phone, she's probably posting something on f*******:, she's a social media addict. "As soon as I finish my food, I'm eating yours too" I grin at her. She quickly puts her phone down and she dig in. "Let's see which food you're gonna eat" she grin back at me. Just after we start eating our food, Lauren smiles and waves at someone behind me.

"Who are you waving?" I ask her while turning to see who she's smiling and waving at. Oh it's one of her male friend, she has a lot of male friends and only two female friends, one of the two is me.

I'm still hungry, so I just turn back and continue eating my food. The guy comes to our table because Lauren called him using her hands. "Hey Lauren, how are you?" he greets her. "I'm great, how are you doing Miles? It's been a while since I last saw you" she replies to him. "I've been around, I'm just occupied with work lately, you know how it is with my job" he tells her.

Ok wow... I'm definitely not into guys, but hey this guy is cute and tall and slim, damn.

"Hi" he looks at me. I continue eating and I probably didn't hear him saying hi because I'm busy eating while complementing him. "Amira, Miles just said hi to you" she tells me while giving me an awkward look. "Oh uhmmm... Hi. Sorry I didn't hear you" I tell him feeling embarrassed. "I guess you're really enjoying your food huh" he makes a silly joke though it's I'm definitely enjoying my lunch.

"You must be Amira, right?" he asks. "Yes. But how do you know my name?" I raise my eyebrows surprisingly. "Simple, I do see you on Lauren's w******p status" he replies. "Ohhh" I look at Lauren and she grin at me.

"so what are you doing here?" Lauren asks him. "well, I came to grab some food" he answers her. "oh yeah it's a restaurant" she replies in a silly tone. I just look at her and shake my head, giving her a silly awkward facial expression.

"Yep" he replies and says bye.

After few minutes later we finish eating, pay our bill and go back to work. As we are walking, Lauren tells me a bit about her male friend.

Few hours later...

"I hope you're done with work. I have knocked off, I'm just checking myself and will be to working place in few minutes" Lauren tells me over the phone.

"Just hurry up I'm already done" I reply to her and hang up. A few minutes later she finds me outside my working place. We start chatting while going to take a tax.

We board off and say our goodbyes, each one goes to her own place. "Hey we'll chat over the phone" I tell her while waving at her. She waves back and goes home.

I'm a bit tired so I quickly take a bath and few minutes later I start preparing supper. I'm done cooking, I serve and call everyone to come eat. Mom asks me how it's going at work. I tell her and continue eating my supper. We're done eating, I tidy up, I take the plates so I can wash them. 30 minutes later I'm done. I go to my room, I listen to few songs.

I must have been too tire, it's already 6am. I quickly take a cold bath, I know right, I usually love bathing cold water because Doctor Mujajati said cold water boosts our immune system, so yeah. By 6:40am I'm done and ready to go. As soon as I go outside, I see Lauren, she's also ready to go. We get on the tax and in about 30 minutes, we are at our working place.
