Bad Liar

I have been working for Mr Muleya for a while now and yes I must say he's a good teacher when it comes to teaching people about business. I remember when I first started working, I never knew anything on how to do marketing, but as soon as I stated working for Mr Muleya, I I have known how to pitch and do double transactions. I became a leader in two weeks time after learning everything and I must say, I'm so good at business. Of course I'm not feeling high of myself, Mr Muleya always praises me and makes me an example to my colleagues. But unfortunately despite him being a good teacher and liking me a lot, he's somehow the kind of a person who do business and only gets more profit alone while making people work extra hard. I've been thinking of changing my work become I'm honestly only learning about business but not earning enough money. Most of my colleagues have been complaining about the same thing as well. But of course I first need to find a better job before I resign. Like I tipped my mom's friend, I mean I was thinking about stopping my work today and guess what, my mom's friend just called me to start working for her and she will be paying me good salary. "Well, your prayer have been answered huh?" My crazy mind tells me. "Of course, I mean I have been praying for a better job, remember?" I reply to my mind like I'm talking to someone else, silly me. Laugh of loud, the truth is, I always talk to myself a lot more than I talk to people. But of course, except for one person, my friend Lauren. I know you are probably wondering who Lauren is. She is my childhood friend and we love each other a lot more. Though some times we argue and fight and stop stalking like little kids, we really love and support each other a lot. Talking of Lauren, I have to let her know that I have found a better job we will be going for work together now since her working place is now next to my working place. (Calling Lauren)... "Hey best friend, guess what...? You and I will be going for work together from now onwards because I have been told that I will be working for my aunt and guess where the place is?? Just next to your working place". I tell her with lots of excitement in my voice. "No way, really best friend??" Lauren asks me with a loud voice, I even have to remove the phone from my ear because she's screaming with excitement. "Well, yeah" I reply her. "That's awesome! I can't wait to be going and working just near you best friend" she replies. "Ok" I reply her and hang up. Now I don't know how to tell Me Muleya that tomorrow I'm not coming for work because I have a new job elsewhere. "God damn it, how do I tell Mr Muleya about stopping working without making him feel bad?" I ask myself. "Well, just go in his office and say tomorrow you're going to a far place and it will be impossible to be working because you will be there for a month" my silly mind tells me. Honestly that's a good idea, I guess my mind says normal things at times huh. "Of course because I'm you dummy" my stupid mind tells me again while mocking me. I just have to face him because no matter what tomorrow I'm stopping. Since it's even time to knock off, I quickly pack my things and I clean myself a bit. I sigh because I'm a bit nervous. I knock once and enter Mr Muleya's office. His office is quiet and he's sitting on his chair typing something on his laptop. He's not looking at probably because he knows I'm the only one who enters his office a lot of times. "Hi Sir, I'm knocking off now" I tell him nervously. "Have you put everything in its place?" He asks me still concentrating on his laptop. "Yes sir" I answer him. "You can go" he tells me. "Well... Sir... tomorrow I'm not coming for work" I tell him nervously. "Why?" he asks me. "I-I-I I am resigning because I'm going to my aunt's place and I'm gonna be there for a month" I stutter when answering. He stops typing and looks at me. "What?? You're quitting??" he's surprised. "You can take a leave and restart when you come back. What are you going to do to your aunt's place anyway?" he asks me again. "Damn it! I shouldn't have said to my aunt's place. what am I going reply now? Stupid mind's idea" I tell myself in a low voice. "I can't get what you're saying Amira" he tells me. "uhmmm... I... Am going there for some...thing. Mom called me but she didn't tell me why aunt wants me" I stutter when answering, again! "Well, alright then. But that's not how you resign from work" he tells me with a frown face. "Thank you Sir. See you" I reply and sigh because I thought he won't allow me. I close the door behind me, I take my things and go home.
