CHAPTER ONE- THE PRINCESS WHO WANTED OUT
The palace was huge and beautiful. It had tall white walls, golden gates, and large windows. Beautiful flowers grew around the palace, and a fountain stood in the middle of the garden.
Inside, the floors were made of shiny marble, and beautiful paintings hung on the walls. Large chandeliers lit up the rooms, while red carpets covered the long hallways.
At the centre of the palace was the throne room, where two golden chairs stood on a raised platform. The palace looked peaceful and perfect, but it held many secrets behind its beautiful walls.
Ayria was a princess bit she felt like a bird in a cage deprived of all her rights. There she was in a formal royal dinner, there her parents sat deciding her future without her opinion her future was planned out for her.
Seeing her sad look, her mom said with her harsh voice she rang out "A princess doesn't get to choose what she wants". Aria could only nod in agreement, her heart sank, Would she really live a pre- destined life??
"Crown often comes with rules" her father whispers, but she never really decided she wanted a crown life, she enived a simple life and fantasize about life beyond the palace.
And boom, an idea popped on her mind, shedidn't think twice before locking her door, she changed in a simple clothes that were forbidden in the palace that moment she thought only about her happiness like nothing in the palace ever battered with that decison grave in her mind, she sneaked out.....
She didn't want to have any false thoughts about life outside the walls, she just had hope of better life than the one she experienced in the palace. To feel her curiosity, the moment she climbed over the palace walls. She told her self she wasn't Princess Ariya she told herself she was just Ariya.
The sound of children laughter, the small food stalls, the music and everything seems to amaze her, her world seems to brighten up. She wasn't paying attention lost in the beautiful sound of noise. She accidental bumped into some one.
"Watch where you are going" he said with a slight annoyance in his tone. "You walked into me"Ariya retorted. "You didn't look where you were going " He retorted back as if he was good chief speaker. Ariya was stunned no one has ever talked to her in that manner, strangely she was quite happy. "I'm Kai" he introduced. Aria had never for ones made friends except the once her parents made for her. Ariya smiled softly. "I'm Ariya."
"Just Ariya?" Kai asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.
She nodded quickly. "Just Ariya."
There was something about the way he looked at her that made her feel nervous. Not because he knew who she was-he clearly didn't-but because he seemed genuinely curious about her.
"So, Ariya," Kai said, stuffing his hands into his pockets, "are you new around here?"
"Something like that."
He chuckled. "That's a strange answer."
Ariya smiled. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had such a simple conversation with someone. No one was watching her. No one was correcting the way she spoke or reminding her how a princess was supposed to behave.
For the first time, she felt ordinary.
And she loved it.
But her happiness didn't last long.
A loud voice suddenly echoed from the other side of the street.
"Princess Ariya!"
Her smile disappeared.
She froze.
Kai turned toward the voice, then slowly looked back at her.
"Princess...?" he repeated.
Ariya's heart dropped.
The palace guards were coming closer.
And Kai was beginning to realize that the mysterious girl he'd just met was not ordinary at all.
