Chapter 19 FREYA'S POV My fingers remained frozen around the door knob while my stomach twisted in knots. His question hung heavy in the air between us and it seemed to echo in my head. For all I knew, I was practically invisible during the masquerade ball, except to the creepy old man who tried to get a dance and the nameless man who had saved me.
