The classroom was quiet except for the tutor’s voice as she explained mate bonds and mating rituals, I listened, trying to keep my mind focused, the girls around me were fidgeting, whispering and stealing glances at me like I was a curiosity, the tutor paced slowly, her words deliberate,
“The mate bond is sacred, only fully understood by the moon goddess, it shows the connection between mates but the ritual finalizes it, the ritual includes mixing blood while the priest recites prayers that bind your souls together, the marking of your mate happens after and is private, intimate and personal between the two of you.”
