RECOVERY
Olatu of Faytha looked up at the waterfall shining in the early morning light and rubbed his hands together, thinking of the innocuous-seeming maroon berry that had given him such an incredible experience. A find that would win Imperial good will and coin by the bucket load.
There was no need to claim the berries for the Imperium since the planet already belonged to Tiamät. Lucaät of Faytha had exclusive rights to anything mined there, and he, Olatu, was sworn to protect those interests – but there was nothing in any of the contracts about ownership of food-stuffs or medicinal herbs, so the berries were his.
