Five days in after the incident and everything came crumbling down. My role as a crime lab analyst will cease to exist in a few weeks because apparently, the news that broke out about me is causing the ratings to plummet, and therefore, it is necessary for them to let me go in order to save the show. Better me than all of us they said. So for this week and onto the next, we’re actually wrapping up my abduction and murder scenes. They’re killing my character figuratively and literally which is such a freaking cliche. I can’t even object to that since I signed the contract that includes a clause saying they have the right to terminate or replace me if things like these occur. Honestly, it was a huge blow to my ego and my emotional state, but what can I do?
