The words were out before I could stop them. I looked at her with a mix of disbelief and a bit of anger. My reaction definitely surprised her because she quickly climbed off my lap and sat back on the front seat within seconds and I just let her. She f*****g knew she should've left the moment he said the word kiss or the moment she felt uncomfortable, but she stuck around and ended up in that situation. And if I hadn't decided to go there and stick my nose in it, things would've ended much worse than him grabbing her like that. I couldn't wrap my head around the reasons she may or may not have for not getting the hell out sooner than she should've which is why I'm having a tough time figuring out who or what I'm upset about.
