Sweets
I open my eyes, the low beeping sound of my phone brings me to the bright calmness of the morning. After a while battling with actually staying awake, I check my unread messages, hoping there's one from S. To my surprise, it's just a couple of irrelevant words from a number of friends. Feeling disappointed, I focus my energy on some morning workout sessions.
The smell of morning dew gently breezes through the window. Water trickles down my face as I try to wash away the possibility of a bad day. I'm haunted by previous disappointments so I say a little prayer.
I sit for a minute and hope everything is alright, the evil duo (fear and doubt) rush in like wolves ready to eat fresh meat. I hope S is all right, and I think of the best possible outcome. The walls have changed, it feels like a different story. I'm just a simple human (right now) hoping for a splendid weekend.
