Emery Oakes is your average 24-year-old living in New York, where she is just a few weeks away from getting her master’s degree in Communication and Media at Columbia University. Marlowe Industries, one of the biggest and most achieving companies, wants her, but it’s not for what Emery originally had planned for herself. If she was to take the job, she would be spending the majority of her time with the CEO’s son, Quentin Marlowe, to prove that he’s not what the media puts him out to be.    Quentin Nathaniel Marlowe is not your average 26-year-old young male; he’s the heir to Marlowe Industries that’s run by his father, Jasper Marlowe.
