Michael arrived at Clarissa's house. The situation was different at this residence. There was no man other than George McLaren at George McLaren's home. Sharma looked uneasy. When she saw Michael visiting her, she greeted him with a smile.
"Thank you for coming, Mr. Carson," Sharma said.
Michael sensed that Sharma was not well. Perhaps she wanted to talk to him about their wedding, which might be cancelled.
"Why do you look so nervous, Lady McLaren? Is there something going on? Does it have something to do with the soldiers arriving in Winny?" Michael tried to get some information.
"The soldiers?" Sharma didn't know about this. She frowned. "Have the soldiers arrived in Winny?"
"Colonel Joseph is at my father's house. I came here quickly to see Clarissa, Lady McLaren," Michael replied
