Michael stopped growing on Clarissa and looked at her. Michael was dumbfounded by Clarissa's statement.
"You must be crazy, Clarissa," Michael said.

"At least when you can come back, then come back to me." Clarissa desperately hoped Michael would say yes. She knew that the possibility of Michael returning safely was uncertain. But at least Michael would give Clarissa hope.
