Clarissa was shocked when she saw Michael's expression of anger. She did not feel that her words were a mistake, and Michael was usually never angry or offended by Clarissa's words, which always showed hatred towards Michael.
"I tried to talk to you nicely, but why are you mean to me?" Clarissa did not want to hold back what she felt.
"You said that you hated me. We got married because of a scandal, so I don't think we should be too privy to each other's affairs. I told you that I wouldn't care what you do after we get married," Michael replied.
