Miss Ruwina smiled at Clarissa, but she was actually thinking more about Loris, who heard Clarissa's words.
"Really?" Miss Ruwina acted surprised. She wanted to look enthusiastic in front of Clarissa. "That means there is progress in your relationship with Mr. Carson."
Clarissa found Miss Ruwina's attitude strange. No one was there but she and Miss Ruwina, so why should Miss Ruwina be formal?
"I really don't understand. I hate Michael, but I didn't say anything when he wanted to kiss me. As a woman of honor, I should have avoided him." Clarissa was busy with her story.
Miss Ruwina glanced at Loris and felt sorry for him. Loris must be feeling heartbroken.
