BLAKE
Have you ever had that feeling when you have someone's hot intense gaze on you? It's like their eyes are burning holes in your skin but when she was doing it..it felt like an angel was cuddling me in warmth.
I was amused that she hadn't given up after ten minutes but I was beginning to get impatient to see her beautiful face.
"Your getting really weird now." I teased and fluttered my eyes opened to a not what I was expecting face.
She looked sad, really sad. Her small lips were frowning and she wasn't even giving me eye contact anymore: her eyes were glued to the bed covers.
"What's wrong baby?" I asked becoming slightly worried as I pushed myself up to my elbows.
"Nothing." She murmured silently.
"Nothing?" She nodded, " Then why are you acting like this?" I gestured and stopped when something caught my eye.
She was pulling on the sleeves of her pink hoodie and something about it seriously alarmed me. It was a cute habit to have but when she only did it when she was uncomfortable or upset wasn't an appetising thing.
"Did I do something during my sleep or am I missing something here?" She still didn't look up at me so I pulled her hands away from pulling on her sleeves gently.
"It's nothing." She replied and pulled her hands from my grasp.
"So is this 'nothing attitude' going to ruin a whole day?" She shook her head.
Why the hell does everyone tell me that I'm the stubborn one? I seriously should video tape this and show everyone who did say it.
"In that case I'm going back to sleep." I told her throwing myself back down on the bed and putting my arm over my eyes to block out some of the daylight.
Why does she need to be like this? Why can't she just tell me what the hell is wrong and then an argument would be diverted? Why does she nee-
I almost gasped at the feather touch to my ribs that took me by surprise. Where she was touching felt really tender and almost painful but she took some pain away.
"I'm sorry." She whispered and I pulled my arm back from my head to see her heavily frowning at my ribs.
I looked down to her hand on my bare skin and noticed all the purple and blue mixtures. Is this the reason why she's upset? Why would she get upset over this?
"Baby for the millionth time, I'm fine." I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her down to the bed with me, " It's just a bruise. Is this why your upset?" I asked her resting my forehead against hers as our breaths mingled.
"I don't like it." She whispered and it almost sounded like a whine making me chuckle.
"You know what would make me better princess?" I whispered huskily as her beautiful wide brown eyes looked up getting lost in mine easily.
"A doctor?" She raised her eyes downs as I laughed at her sarcastic comment.
"I need a special nurse." I whispered watching her blush, " I really do need a massive medication list of kisses, cuddles, smiles and more intense kisses." I watched as she laughed now and noted to myself how beautiful it sounded coming from her.
Man, I'm whipped.
"I'm pretty sure I can cover it." She wrapped her arms around my neck and I almost moaned at the feel of her hands combing through my hair, " Unless you want someone else?" I could tell she was trying to be more innocent that she was but I wasn't having any of it from her.
"Baby, I am more than sure you can cover it." I told her as I slammed my lips down on hers.
The feeling was sensational, something that I would never get tired of. I knew that April was innocent in one bold way but I didn't care about that right now because I was happy with just having her kisses and cuddles knowing that I will be the only person ever to get
near her innocence.
My Princess is mine forever and I will never share.
"Baby?! Please hurry up we going to be late." I shouted up her stairs trying to get her to hurry up.
Tonight we were going to one of my marine parties and I really want to introduce April to all my friends and my sergeant. However, she has been upstairs getting ready for the past three hours while I have been away in my car driving her Mum to her friends house so she could spend the night with her.
I don't mind any of that but I'm dressed and ready to go and we are still waiting on April.
"Is this dress too much?" I turned around to the soft voice behind me and my eyes popped out their sockets.
Her brown hair was curled past her chest, her tanned skin and make up were flawless and the dress made her seem like a real princess, my princess.
The dress was a red floor length, which flowed freely after those sexy hips. It had no sleeves and honestly made her look like a goddess. Her heels were high and matched her dress but she still struggled to be my height and she had a silvery clutch purse with a single diamond necklace.
"Uh..um..you..I.." Get a grip Blake, " You look beautiful Princess." I breathed wrapping my arms around her and kissing her lips softly.
I felt a sticky sweet substance on my lips and I was going to ignore it but April started to giggle making me raise my eyebrows. She pulled me back into her hold and held me flush against her, not that I was complaining.
I was just about to make a cheeky comment before her hand came up to my lips and she used her thumb to wipe away the sticky substance.
"I don't think people will take you seriously with lip gloss on your lips." She whispered and I almost groaned.
"Why did you put on lip gloss?" I whined, " I won't get a kiss all night now." I muttered with a pout and watched as she shook her head at me.
"You can but just remember to wipe your lips afterwards." She tapped my shoulder and walked out the front door heading to my car. It's a good thing Louis gave me the keys to lock up because little miss teaser wouldn't have remembered.
I know for a fact that I won't see her tonight. I won't even have a chance to get her sweet lip gloss on my lips again for one reason:
That god damn dress and her angelic like looks.
They will all want to talk and dance with her and if Clayton is here with Marney, I'm running back to my car and hiding. Call me a wuss but I don't want April finding out that I knew before her and didn't tell her because I don't want her to think I would ever lie to her, which I won't but its still not the point.
"Do I have to drink alcohol tonight?" She randomly asked me as I started the car with a roar of the engine.
"Not if you don't want to baby although I think you will need to have a glass of champagne for the toast." I looked over to her and watched as she gave me a heart warming smile.
"I'll do the toast but when I come home I really want to watch movies with you or something." I was really touched that she would rather just be with me and only me than have fun at a party.
"I vote a hot make out session." I told her playfully before reaching over and lacing my free hand through hers.
"Hmmm, we will see." I smirked with a chuckle.
"You know this red dress is bringing out a teaser...I may need to take it off for you." I teased back and watching as her cheeks went bright cherry red.
"Jerk."
The party so far has been literally amazing.
Everyone is having fun dancing or laughing drunkenly at memories from the past which they shared with each other. I felt a little tipsy but I was one proud man.
It seems to be that my family love April, including my baby sister. Emily and April are getting along like a house on fire and its one joyful sight to sit back and watch.
"Shots?" I put my bottle of beer on the nicely decorated table and turned to see a very tipsy Clayton.
"I need to try and sober up now." I sighed looking at the clock," I drove here remember?" I asked as Clayton stood like a zombie before slouching into the seat next to me.
"She wants me to meet her parents man." He almost cried in despair. What the hell was he talking about? Marney?
"You're talking about Marney right?" I asked before this conversation got extremely awkward very quickly.
"Of course I am." He rubbed his forehead vigorously, " I just don't know if I'm ready Blake." He admitted and I turned it my seat to see him more clearly.
"If you really like Marney as much as you've told me you do then there shouldn't be a problem Clayton." I told him in all seriousness and watched as he slightly nodded.
"What if they don't like me?" He lifted up a shot and swallowed it back quicker than lightening.
"Dude if you act like that and show up to their house wasted they for sure will have something to say." I shook my head at him, " Just show them how much Marney means to you and just tell them how you'll never let her come to harm." I shrugged and he leaned back in his chair.
"How did you do it with April's Mum?" He asked and I smiled looking over to April chatting happily away with my family. That one sight and I can't even explain my pride right now.
"Louis is different. She wants what's best for April, never wants her to get hurt, always wants her to be protected, have someone to care for her as much as she does and someone that will never her leave her no matter what." I took a sip of my beer, " I give my everything to live up to those expectations everyday." I told him truthfully.
"Doesn't every Mum want that for her daughter?" I looked over to him with a slow nod.
"I guess." I sighed, " I don't know, I mean Louis is like my second Mum whenever I'm with April." He smiled and looked over to Marney who gave him a small wave.
"I get so worked up sometimes man." I laughed almost dropping my bottle of beer.
"Understatement of the century." He even joined in laughing because he knew I was telling the truth.
"I got myself a good one huh?" I looked over to Marney and smiled as she gave me a wave also.
"Yeah." He looked at me with raised brows, " Just don't break her heart man because her and April are like sisters and your like my brother so if I need to back you up an argument will develop between me and April." He shook his head and laughed.
"Not that I would but why is an one argument bad?" I stood up from my seat with my bottle of beer in my hands almost sarcastically laughing at him.
"Have you seen how stubborn she is?" I asked him and his face went red with laughter.
"Hate to break it to you Blakey...you both are." He kissed my cheek and I pulled away with disgust, " I still couldn't love you more!" He shouted over the music making his way to Marney.
I turned to look over to April to see her looking directly at me with raised eyebrows. I swear women shouldn't be able to buy dresses that make their assets look scrumptious. It should be illegal.
"Hey baby, where's everyone of too?" I asked taking a seat from the side of her and sitting on it. I pulled her chair in between my legs so we could be closer to hear over the music.
"Your parents and Emily are just away outside for some fresh air." She smiled then smirked, " I see you've found a replacement for me?" I began to slightly panic at what she was meaning but then I remembered she seen Clayton kiss me, ending my panic attack.
"I like Clayton but he could never compete with you." I told her leaning slightly forward so our breaths were mingled with each others.
"Really? How come?" She asked and I smirked leaning my forehead against hers and looking directly into her eyes.
"Well he certainly can never compete with your beautiful body." I whispered against her cheek watching them go cherry red, " He can't give me those heart breaking smiles you give me." She smiled making my smirk grow, " He can certainly never complete with this." I heard her gasp as I slammed my lips against hers and lifted her arms around my neck.
One arm of mine rested on her waist rubbing circles while the other was at the back of her neck holding her to me like super glue. I bit her bottom lip teasingly and heard her moan making my lower department get excited. The soonest chance I got I put my tongue in her mouth and explored what was mine and mighty did she taste fine. I didn't care if I needed to take a breath because I was to wound up in her soft little moans that I didn't think I cared much.
I felt her hands on my neck push down the space between my shirt and my back and now I almost groaned at how good her hands felt on me right now. I wanted to re-
"Eewww!" I pulled away at a small squeal, "Blake my eyes are burning." Emily whined but I just rested my forehead against April's still not believing how good that felt.
I was speechless and not just because I was gasping for air but because this kiss was different. Maybe it was because she made the first move to touch me during a make out session for the first time right now instead of me doing it or maybe it was that glint in her eyes that I have never seen before until now.
"Sorry Emily." I told her before turning around to face her keeping a tight hold of Aprils hand, " Just don't even try to repeat it with a boy because I will-"
"I know you'll let them see what it's like to be paralysed for ten seconds." She rolled her eyes as I grinned.
"Good girl." I smiled, " how was camp?" I asked her and watched as she smiled through her cute nerdy glasses.
"I told all my new friends that your a Marine and that you kick ass and they didn't believe me." She pouted and I rolled my eyes at her knowing where this was going.
"When am I taking you to your friends house again?" I asked her sarcastically.
"This Thursday but you just need to take me and Dad will pick me up." She smiled, " Uncle Clayton needs to go too." My little sister from a baby has always called Clayton her Uncle and I really never question it especially since Clayton just encourages it.
"So when Clayton gets out the car and I randomly kick his ass." I leaned forward slightly, " What's the excuse?" I asked her with raised brows.
The feeling of April rubbing circles in my palm slightly distracted me but I focused on Em.
"That he stepped out of line and you had to put him in it." She bounced with excitement. I need to remember she only turned twelve last month...she's just a little kid still.
"Because I'm a marine?" I asked.
"Exactly." I chuckled as she took a sip of her cola.
"I'll see what I can do." I told her as she leaned over and gave me a quick hug before chasing after another girl and hiding under the table.
I looked at the clock on the wall and watched as the clock hit nine. Since I do want alone time with April before we sleep, I think it's time we should go.
"You ready to say your goodbyes baby?" I asked her before softly placing a kiss on her lightly swollen lips.
"After you." She smiled and pulled me up from my seat with a small tug on my hand.
"Do you have the car keys?" I asked her and she raised her brows.
"Yes but since you've been drinking and I haven't, I'm driving." She told me like it was final.
"No way. Give me the keys." I told her holding out my hands besides I wasn't drunk I was tipsy.
"No."
"Yes."
"No"
"Yes."
"Yes."
"No."
"Exactly Blake, I'm driving." She told me walking away it front.
"Give me the keys April." I told her in all seriousness holding out my hand waiting for the keys that never came.
"I drive or we can both walk home." I rolled my eyes with a groan before stepping forward and wrapping my arms around her waist giving her a hug.
"Fine." I whispered as she kissed my head and turned for the exit with a grin on her face.
"Thank you." I grabbed her hand tightly and pulled her close as we walked out the venue. The outside was chaos with the amount of drunk people trying to get a cab so I made sure April was firmly against my chest as we walked forward to the car park.
"Where is your parents? I wanted to say goodbye." She told me with a pout and I kissed her cheek softly.
"We can head over tomorrow and see them if you want after we come back from a little trip." I told her as we finally got to the car park. I felt more at ease so I let her walk beside me with her hand in mine instead of against my chest.
"What little trip?" She asked as she unlocked the car and leaned against the bonnet lifting her foot up.
"I don't know yet." I frowned at her, " Baby what the hell are you doing." I watched as she took both her heels of and placed them in her hands.
"Taking my heels of so its more comfortable to drive." I nodded my head and she tip toed to the drivers side.
"I can see that but why didn't you do that in the car? Your gonna cut your foot on a piece of glass!" I stressed as she just rolled her eyes and climbed in the car.
"Hurry up its cold and I want some banana ice cream." I couldn't be mad so I just smirked and climbed in next to her.
I put my seat belt on and watched as she placed her heels in my lap and began to drive off with a changed seating position. Who knew April driving my car would be a turn on?
"You look super hot driving my car." I admitted with zero shame.
"Really?" I nodded, " You look super hot all the time." She replied giving my thigh a small squeeze. I wanted to groan as my lower department once again got excited.
We were in the house and I was currently dishing out some banana ice cream into a bowl for me and April but I seriously couldn't concentrate because she her chest was against my back and her hands were wrapped around me as she kissed my shoulder gently.
"You know I'm beginning to think this dress has made you a s****l deviant baby." I turned around in her arms and kissed her nose gently.
"Aren't I allowed to kiss and cuddle you?" She asked with a small pout.
"Until your heart is content, yes." I nodded, " however, when I am doing something it's hard to stay focused when your kissing me with your body pressed up also against me." She smiled mischievously.
"Why is it hard to concentrate?" She asked me biting her lip making me almost moan.
"You make me want to do things and your not ready yet baby." I told her truthfully and kissed her lips gently but she had other ideas
as the kiss grew more intense and before I know it my tongue is exploring her mouth freely.
When she pulled away I really wanted to groan from being deprived....it should be illegal.
"Who said I wasn't ready." She whispered.
"It doesn't matter if you are ready because were not going there yet." She frowned with a small groan.
"Spoiled sport." She muttered making me chuckle.
"Baby I want it to be special for both of us." I told her lightly kissing her lips, " Just please don't think that I don't want you because I do want you really badly. I don't even care if its perfect, I just want it to be special." I told her and her whole look softened as stood on her tippy toes and gave me a kiss.
"What movie would you like to watch?" She mumbled against my lips making me smile.
"Um...what's the one with the horse and annoying singing?" I asked as her eyes lit up with a spark.
"You mean Maximus, Rapunzel and Flynn?" She asked.
"Yeah that one." I smiled, " Put that on and get changed while I fix the ice cream." I told her as she planted another kiss on my lips.
"It's my favourite movie." She squealed excitedly running through to the living room.
"I know, baby." I whispered slightly to myself putting more ice cream into our bowls before heading through to join her.
I really genuinely appreciated it when she tried to tell me she was ready. However, 'I'm ready.' Never came from her lips and I know she will tell me again if she really is ready but it won't be rushed when she does.
We have nothing but time and like I mentioned before it will be special.
