Prologue
Kindly note: This story is not based on a true story. The characters, location, etc. mentioned in this story are fictitious. Any resemblance to real people is entirely coincidental. Mount Winschell Boys Boarding School was known for building discipline in its students and prepare them for being a future gentlemen, or at least the advertisement said so. However, when Mr and Mrs Wingrave finally got the contract from the US company they had been waiting for and education of Miles became issue, Lily and James trusted Mount Winschell with their son’s future. “You be a good boy there” said Mrs Wingrave as she was doing his hair. “Will you come to meet me?” Miles certainly wasn’t excited. Lily gave a sad smile, “Of course.” “Madam, the car is ready,” the driver at the door said. “Let’s go” Lily stood up and held Miles’ hand and was about to walk when Miles held her back. “Do I really have to go? Is there no other way?” Lily understood how he was holding back the tears, but the truth was there was no other way. She turned around and hugged him. “ We’ll be back in a year and Nanna will visit you often.”
