THE LIFE AND LIVING OF TINALIA TOWN
I woke up early and quickly paced down the stairs just to watch the sunrise. It reminds me of my mother. If it weren't for my evil stepmom , Grace and my dad, Ellis, I would watch the sunrise every morning, happily and merrier.
The fluttering scent of the morning soil keeps me going. My mom used every natural thing in encouraging me to be a better me. Well now I just have to keep on going and pushing until my mom rests in peace.
Grace found me gazing at the round , shiny orange sun and despitefully poked my nose, pinching my ear painfully , she scolded, “ You need to clean the house now ! That's your duty! Or else you'll be grounded for a month! Am I clear!? ”
I didn't say nothing and forcefully pushed her away and ran to the street. Miles , my front door neighbor, quickly opened the door for me and I emerged right inside. Grace ran after me and shouted Miles' dad nonstop while a people threw old rotten food at her. They knew that Grace was an evil stepmom and they always protected me since my mom's death. I just sat at the comfy chair at Miles' house and drank the hot chocolate he had done for me.
Ellis grabbed his wife intensively and bristled right in his mansion, protecting his ‘ dear wife’ from all the mess people threw at Grace. Mistakenly, Ellis pulled Grace by her hair and hit her head at the door. All the tension made me laugh so hard that I spilt my hot chocolate on the floor! What a disaster!
Poor me had to clean the floor at Miles' house. Well Miles wasn't such a talkative person but rather a too introverted snub , I can say. All he did was to talk in sign language besides talking and didn't even raise his hand to answer the simplest questions in class .
Citizens of Tinalia Town had this tendency of judging people. If someone bought a red car , they say they should've bought a blue one. If someone got married, they say they should've waited a bit longer. They judge every thing in other people's lives.
Margaret, a senior lady who lives down the road knew everything about the town of Tinalia. I would listen to the stories she told me about my town like how a mysterious plant made the King rich, how Tinalia Town's living was like in the 60th centuries but what got me thinking most was the story about a fierce , woman who protected Tinalia Town with her ancestral powers. She died the same year my mom did and left a letter to Madam Seychelles about her lost daughter who was destined to be the most powerful warrior ever.
