Chapter 3

Avery’s POV

I was browsing my phone when I received a notification from a dating app. Because of boredom, I decided to take a look at this stupidity my best friend had brought me yesterday.

“Tsk. How will I know who will be a perfect choice for a perfect match from these guys?” I continued talking to myself. Using dating apps isn’t really my thing since I’m uncomfortable talking to someone I don’t even know personally. I haven’t seen them in person, which isn’t a good idea for me. I still prefer to date someone I knew or at least I saw personally. So, I got tired of browsing the app and put it down just then, I received a message. I checked it and it was from the guy who called me yesterday.

‘Hi. It’s me, Reynold. Reynold Hayes. The guy from the food stall.’ The message said.

‘Yes, I do remember you.’ I replied.

‘How’s your day? Busy?’ he replied. I took a few seconds before replying. I rolled on the other side of my bed.

‘I’m fine.’ I responded.

‘Call?’ he responded. I’m doing nothing and feeling bored at the same time so, I agreed to have a phone call. It didn’t take a minute to ring and I picked it up.

“Hi.” He started.

“Yeah, Hi,” I responded smiling even though he couldn’t even see.

“This is such a therapy.” He said giving me confusion on what is he talking about.

“Hearing your voice is soothing.” He added. I was surprised by his overflowing courage. Like I was stoned. I forced a laugh so it wouldn’t feel awkward.

“By the way, I saw your friend in the mall. I thought you were with her.” He said and felt like going with the flow as I also joked around.

“Oh, you’re probably looking for me, huh,” I said jokingly.

“If I do, are you going to pop up in front of me right now?” he said and I can’t imagine his face while saying that. I felt like he was wearing a big smile on his proud face.

“Oh wow! That’s ridiculous but how I wish I could.” I said being so into it. We talked and laughed at each other’s stories. I admit, he’s quite a talkative and funny guy too. We didn’t notice the time and I realized, we’d been talking for an hour already.

“I really enjoyed talking to you.” He said.

“Me either,” I responded smiling.

“Will it be okay if we’ll meet again in person? You know let’s hang out.” He asked. This made my heart skip a beat. I think there’s nothing wrong with taking risks then. This might just be the beginning of something beautiful, I thought.

“Uhm, sure,” I responded.

“Great, are you free tomorrow night?” he asked.

“Yes,” I responded shortly and stood up from my bed.

“All right then, I’ll pick you up after work.” He said and I felt a prick of nervousness inside my chest.

“All right,” I mumbled.

“Okay then.” He responded awkwardly so before it became more awkward, we ended the conversation.

“Bye, see you.” He said and I hung up. I put down my phone and realized something.

“Am I just going on a date tomorrow?” I asked myself. Unbelievable.

I looked in the mirror and said, “Oh come on girl, of course, you’ll have a date, you’re pretty and gorgeous.” After talking to myself and keeping up the courage, I gave up on this insanity and went into the kitchen to prepare something to eat. I grabbed loaves of bread and a jar of Nutella to eat because I suddenly got too lazy to cook.

I was about to take my first bite when my phone rang. This time it’s my evil b***h best friend.

“Yes?” I greeted her lazily.

“Hello, Avery!” she greeted back with a high-pitched voice causing me pain in my ear.

“What?” I asked irritably.

“Guess where I just came from.” She spoke. I know something is up with this girl again. Either boys or d*cks.

“Hmm. Spill it.” I responded as I took a bite.

“You know, I had a special date.” She started and I just stayed silent.

“You know, we ate each other.” She said and laughed.

“You mean, with Ricky. Right?” I asked for assurance.

“Of course.” She said without hesitation and I let her continue.

“What’s exciting is that we did that in the parking lot.” She said proudly and I almost choked to death.

“Seriously?!” I asked in shock.

“Yeah, I mean we did it of course in a private part.” She explained.

“No way! The parking lot isn’t private, you b*tch!” I shouted at her unbelievably. I just heard her laugh at the other side.

“How the hell did you do that?” I asked.

“Of course, we were so hot that time and he pulled my undies, he slipped his finger inside me and wow, it’s heaven.” She explained to me making me feel hot. Yes, I suddenly felt hot even though my kitchen was well-ventilated.

“And there we go. I was banged so heavenly. What an exciting experience, isn’t it?” Regina said without a break, without hesitation, and shameless. I could even imagine her smiling so widely and playfully speaking if ever we were together.

“I can’t believe you.” These are the only words I managed to say. I shouldn’t be shocked but still, it gives me chills.

“Okay. That’s enough.” I said as I gulped on a glass of water. I heard her laugh again.

“I know you feel hot now. Try it, Avery. You also need a d**k in your life.” She said and I couldn’t take it. Even though she didn’t tell me in detail, the thoughts gave me a different sensation. A sensation that I always try to hide.

“Shut up, Reg!” I told her.

“Oh, come on, you’re just a human being who needs a f*ck sometimes!” she said I was surprised.

“There’s nothing wrong with that.” She added.

“All right. I know, I know!” I spoke.

“You’ll feel that too.” She said with her evil laugh. Before I go entirely insane for today, I have to stop talking to her.

“All right, Reg. I have to go now. I got to answer some emails. Bye.” I said and cut the line.

“Oh, God.” I burst, shook my head, and took another glass of water but still, the hot sensation crept me over. This didn’t stop so I knew my body needed to release the heat it was burning inside so I rushed to my room, turned on my AC and laptop, and searched for an adult site. My body felt the eagerness, my hand started to search for my flat boobs and massaged it. I let out a moan until I fell deeply into it and I didn’t notice my hands crawl down. I started touching myself and let out more and louder moans. The vibration and the pleasure intensify resulting in a satisfying release. I felt relieved.
