Episode 1
Narrator: A Revelation of the True Nature of Man
Long ago, when the world was still young and no great cities had been built yet, ancient humans discovered magic.
It started simply — a warmth in the hands, a way to heal what was broken, or make crops grow thick and tall. No one knew who found it first. It felt as though magic had always been there, sleeping in the fabric of the world, just waiting for someone to wake it up. And once people began using it, everything changed.
Word spread fast from village to village, from valley to mountain. Those who could work wonders were welcomed, respected, called wise. Magic was used to mend bones, build where hands could not reach, find a path through storms, and speak to people across great distances. It became a normal part of daily life — as ordinary as planting seed, as natural as drawing breath. Mothers taught their daughters. Fathers showed their sons. For a time, it truly seemed like humanity had been given a great gift.
But power is like fire. It keeps you warm — until it burns you. And there is one truth that never changes:
"Man has a habit of abusing any form of power given to him."
It did not happen all at once. No one even noticed at first. But some people began to wonder — what else can this do? What if instead of healing, you could force someone to do what you want?
