Curses and Love: The Luna with Two Mates

ROMAN The rain kept pouring down heavily as he looked out of the window at the girl crying on her knees outside his castle. Looking at her he wondered how desperate she must have been for her to come to him for help, at least not with his current title as the most ruthless Alpha in all the clans. He remembered how she was when he first met her boasting about her fiancé and how she was to be the Luna of the Alpaca tribe , it’s amusing how it all crashed so fast. She looked pathetic, helpless and by the looks of it homeless, but that is not supposed to be of any concern to him. She was once a pride of the Alpaca tribe betrothed to the Alpha’s son Louis because of her brilliance and beauty. Her father was a loyal man to Alpha Hugo, Louis’ father. A strong man who would end anyone who crossed paths with him. He lost a lot because of her family’s reputation why she is here now. Is this some sort of ploy to smoke him out again or a trap to bring down his people? “Alpha Roman” his beta called snapping him out of his thoughts. What are we going to do about her Alpha she refuses to leave and has been there all evening insisting on seeing you even after you declined. What makes her think I would let her into my house after what her father did to me? Do you know what her family cost me and she dares to come to me for shelter? I know what to do. Alpha Roman smirked as his gaze turned back to the slender figure outside his castle. “Send her in” Right away Alpha. Beta said walking away. Soon after Roman strode downstairs with complexity in his thoughts. The little lady walked into his sitting room all drenched and soaked from the rain outside. “State your business,” Alpha Roman said breaking the silence. “My name is Sera Olly and I have come to seek shelter from you my fiancé as well as my best friend, who turned on me and kicked me out of my house, now I have nothing”. How is that my business Sera! Do you know me? Yes, Alpha I’ve heard of you. Sera said on the brink of tears. Heard? Alpha Roman couldn’t help but sneer. You have some guts coming to me Sera do you know what your father did to me? He’s an enemy of the Wolfbane tribe , he connived with our enemy and killed my people. You should be happy you’re still breathing right now. Your Father was Treacherous, it only hurts me that I wasn’t the one who killed him I would have made sure he suffered long before his death. YOU ARE A THREAT TO MY PEOPLE. “No Alpha, Please you’re the only one I can turn to”. Sera cried as she fell on her knees. Her loved ones turned on her, she had no one else to turn to. Roman Laughed. What a joke of a person you are Sera. Okay now you speak of help what can I get in return? I…I…I don’t know I’ll do anything please Alpha. “Gusto”. Yes Alpha. Take her to the Quarters on the second floor close to where the maids stay, I’ll decide what to do with her later. “Okay Sir, I will do so immediately”. Roman looked at the shivering girl as she walked away with his beta. She was beautiful petite with brown eyes if only circumstances did not surround her maybe it would have been different. His gaze softened but switched back as he remembered the cries of his people 15 years ago. His Mother had died in that battle while fighting for her people, he could remember it clearly how she was stabbed from behind, the pain felt fresh as tho it was yesterday. It was 15 years and he couldn’t get over the pain, seeing his Mother die in front of him without being able to fight back he was angry, who loses their parent two days before their birthday. Roman never remained the same again. “Alpha” I have shown her to her room. Good this is just the beginning I’ll make her suffer for all the losses I had to face because of her father. The Next Morning the morning sun woke Sera from her sleep she felt peaceful. Soon enough she heard a knock on the door. Who’s there? A woman walked in “Hello Sera I’m the chief maid Rosaletta and I’m here to take you downstairs the Alpha is waiting and we don’t want to keep him out there for long. Okay Rosaletta I’ll be down as soon as possible. Sera rushed to have a bath and changed into the clothes Rosaletta had gotten her, she tied her hair up into a ponytail and tried to conceal the marks on her face that were given to her by her fiancée during their fight. Her Fiancé Louis had cheated her with her best friend Mia. It was a memory she did not want to remember the pain she felt when she lost everything. Her mother’s house was the last memory she had of her, gone. She rushed downstairs to see others waiting in the sitting room, she couldn’t help but look at Alpha Roman who sat upright in a way that screamed power. He was quite dashing and handsome she watched him sip on his coffee silently. Are you done staring? Roman looked up to Sera as he spoke. I am sorry Alpha. “Everyone this is Sera Olly she will work with you all here in the house as one of the maids”. And she must be treated as such. “Olly”. The people spoke in anger as they questioned why she was here. Her father was an enemy to the pack. Why did the Alpha harbour an enemy and grant her shelter? The crowds bickered as the hall was full of the murmurs of the people. SILENCE!!!! I am your Alpha and you do not question me. She will stay here for the time being and that’s final. Everywhere grew silent as they watched her with hate and anger. After the Announcement, everyone went to their post, and Rosaletta led Sera to change her attire to start working. She was on the brink of tears, she could barely hold herself together. Rosaletta comforted her and told her it would be fine she could just watch as she worked and pick up at her pace. It was a very long day for Sera. At Eve she was very tired and had gone to her room when the Alpha’s Beta Gusto came to call her. “Sera the Alpha wants to see you now in his room! Why? Did I do something wrong? Did someone report me? She was tense what did Alpha Roman want now, a lot of thoughts crossed her mind at that instant. She changed out of her maid outfit and walked out of the room slowly letting Gusto lead her to the Alpha’s Bedroom. Every Step closer felt like she was being drained. “Alpha she’s here” Gusto announced. “Send her in” Roman’s voice came out from inside the room.
