Sapphire Atharra POV

"Miss L, your father have an appointment with you this afternoon."

"What time?"

"1 PM miss L."

"Okay, prepare for snacks for my dad later. Let him come in my office when he arrives."

"Yes miss L."

That is my secretary. I have my own company, my dad wants me to handle his company but I refused. I told him that it's better for the twin to handle it but when I talk to Luke and Duke, they are not interested in business industry. I accepted my dad's offer but I told him that I won't be the CEO. I wanted only to be the CO-CEO and he agreed.

Now, I have my own business. I told Luke and Duke to atleast help dad because I need to have my own life and I made them train for handling the company.

This past few years, I can tell that it's not easy for me but my family helped me, thank you for them. Grabe sobrang laki ng pagbabago ng bukay ko, parang kailan lang noong nagsisimula pa lamang ang aking kumpanya pero eto ako ngayon, isa na sa nangungunang businesswoman around the world.

And when I was in fourth year, I became a model. My two lil bro made that all for me, they always ask me to join modeling and I favour them, I wanted them to be happy so I agreed. That is how my life started to be exciting.

I heard a knock in my office door and I think that's my father.

"Come in."

"My princess is busy, how are you doing these days?"

"I'm okay dad, how about you and mommy?"

Luke and Duke always visit me here sa company that's why they know how I am.

"We're good princess, but Elise misses you so much. She asked me to tell you to come in our house."

"I miss her too Dad, but I can't leave my work here in the office."

"Yeah I know that so we planned to come here sometimes, is it okay?"

"Yes of course dad, it's fine."

Hindi ko alam kung nangangamusta lang talaga si dad kaya siya pumunta dito or there's something important na sasabihin niya.

"Miss L. The food is here."

"Come in."

Matapos ilapag ng secretary ko iyong food ay tinanong ko si dad

"Dad tell me why did you ask for an appointment with me?"

"Hmm princess I wanted to introduce you to someone so important to me?"

"And who is he?" I'm sure it's a man dahil never na may pinakilala sa akin si dad na babae so I assume that it's a man.

"I'll tell you princess when you meet him." "please princess, favour me this once."

"Okay dad, when?"

"Now princess."

"What!? I have a meeting later dad."

"But princess, he came just to meet you."

"No dad."

I saw sadness in my dad's face. Urgh I hate seeing him sad.

"Okay dad, just this once."

"Okay princess, thank you."

"Where did he came from Dad?"

"He's from the Philippines."

"Okay, wait me in the lobby, I'll just cancel my meeting."

"Okay princess."

I cant believe my dad made me cancel one of my important meeting.

"Miss Ella please cancel my meeting later and ask to reschedule tomorrow."

"Yes miss L."

So eto na nga, we're on the way sa restaurant na kung saan I'm going to meet my dad's friend s***h business partner. Hula ko lang na it's his friend or business partner kasi hindi naman pinapakilala sa amin ni dad kung hindi importante sa kanya iyong tao. My dad is choosy when it comes sa taong binibigyan niya ng space sa buhay niya. Dad is jolly and friendly but mas gusto niyang limitahan yung mga taong papasok sa buhay niya, makulit si dad sa amin like he wants to annoy us kapag nasa bahay lang kami and I really love my dad so much. I always wanted to make him happy no matter what because he's not the type of person na malungkot.

So we're here and my dad is so excited, parang mas excited siya to meet the person na napaka imposibleng mangyari kasi alam kong it's not his first time to meet the person na ipapakilala niya daw sa akin hahahaha.

"Good morning ma'am sir, do you have a reservation?"

"Yes, reservation for Mr. Lewiston."

"This way please."

Napaka galante talaga ni dad, nagpareserve pa talaga para lang sa meet and greet na to hahahaha just kidding. Maarte yan si dad kapag mga ganitong occasion, talagang pinaghahandaan niya ang mga bagay bagay lalo na kung para sa mga taong mahal niya sa buhay.

I'll share iyong experience ko noong unang taon ko dito sa Canada. Sobrang hirap ako mag adjust sa environment and sa school naman is I don't know anyone, I'm alone at mas lalo kong na miss sina mom and Harra. Nasa punto na ako na I'll just cry Everytime I'm down but my family supported me, my dad who cheer me up.

Flashback

Andito ako sa kwarto ko ngayon alone and crying, I'm so exhausted sa school kasi I can't adjust pa rin. I wanted to give up and go back to the Philippines but pinipigilan ako NG takot ko na baka kapag bumalik ako talo ako kasi hindi pa ako okay eh, wala pa akong napapatunayan. So Sabi ko sa sarili ko na laban lang, kaya natin ito.

Napatitil ajo sa pag iisip ng may kumatok sa pintuan.

"Come in."

Naka dapa ako sa bed Kaya hindi ko nakita kung sino iyong kumatok but I was so shock when my dad pull me sa bed na ikinahulog ko sa sahig. Ang sakit ng pagkakabagsak ko dahil nakadapa ako sa pagkakahiga ko sa bed.

"I'm sorry princess, is it painful?" "I'm really sorry princess but I just want to cheer you up, so get dress because we're going somewhere."

"Dad you didn't ask me kung gusto ko."

"Why, you don't like it?"

"No but.."

"No buts princess, we'll wait you downstairs."

Pagka alis ni dad nagpalit ako agad, hindi nila ako sinabihan kaya I'm not prepared at binilisan ko kasi baka mainip sila kakahintay.

So pagka baba ko akala ko dad and mommy only but kasama pala Ang kambal. And we're off to go. Ang plano pala nila ay mag mall kami and kakain na din sa labas, and it's because of me that's why we are heading to the mall, they wanted to cheer me up para daw mabawasan iyong lungkot na nararamdaman ko.

"Luke and Duke always saw you na mugto ang mata and they told us kaya we plan to make you happy so cheer up princess."

Ang sweet ng pamilya ko sobra. Nakwento nila sa akin na kapag hindi nila ako mapapasaya ay papupuntahin nila si mom dito sa Canada and I was so shock to hear that, they're so affected of what I feel. I feel like crying but I don't want to ruin the moment with them. I love my family more than they love me, they are my strength.

Sobrang sarap sa feeling iyong may pamilya kang nandiyan palagi para sayo through all the ups and downs.
