Mafia Order

We arrived at a large building and parked in the underground parking lot as I started to get an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. Once we were parked I waited in the Jeep for Max to open my door and help me out of the car. I held his hand as he led the way to the elevator and kept me close to him.

Max pressed the 24-floor button and pulled me in front of him. He tilted my face up to his and kissed my lips hard as he lifted me just a little. We kissed till the elevator dinged indicating that we were on our floor and we pulled away from each other.

I blushed deeply as we walked out and all of the Mafia members stood there at attention.

"Welcome Boss and Mistress we have been expecting you, I am Issak," Issak said bowing to me.

"It's nice to meet you and to see how the family business works," I said looking around the room.

"Issak where is the prisoner?" Max asked looking at Issak before he looked at me.

"In the office down the hall," Issak said.

Max only nodded before he started to head in that direction with me beside him.

"You can wait outside or you can witness what I have to do to get the information that I require to keep you and Viktor safe," Max explained and I look into his eyes.

"We are in this together Max so I will have your back with the prisoner." I confidently say.

"It won't be pretty."

"I know but that is not the point Maxie."

He nodded to me as he opened the door and went into the room first while he squared his shoulders. 

I followed his lead and the person I saw was a man with long brown hair that was currently coving his face but his body was muscular but not to the point that Max was. Max walked right over to him while I closed the door.

"What did you think you were doing on my territory your serpent," Max growled as he pulled his head back by the hair.

"To tell you that your group has no more power since you disappear all the time but I can see now that it was because you found your mate. Though he would be better off home with your adopted son Maxim," he growled back as I saw his hazel eyes roam my body.

"Well I'm back and I will eradicate all of your Serpents from this country."

I watched as Max threw a punch and it made contact with the man's face. I saw blood spirt from his mouth and onto the floor by my feet. Max kept beating the man till he was all bloody and my head started to spin as I lean against the wall.

"There." was all Max said before leaving to room with me behind him.

Max nodded to Issak as he walked past and into his office and there was a bowl of warm water waiting on a cart by his desk.

I could only watch as I took a seat in one of the chairs by his desk as he washed his bloody hands.

"I know you did not expect this when we became mates but this is who I am and there is nothing that can change how I am." Max sighed.

"I can see that but that does not mean that I want it in the house, this is the only place or even the streets I expect it there," I state as I look him in the eye.

He looked at me in disbelief as I sat there calm and content with what he just did, truth beholds so was I.
