Kang nara's heart was beating wild and rapidly unable to come down. She felt like every breath she had taken All these years was for nothing . She couldn't believe what her grandmother just said to her. Nara felt like screaming but couldn't bring her self to do so. She stood up ?and strode to the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She bent down over the hand basin and turned the water forcet and washed her face. A few minutes later she turned off the forcet and stood straight . She stared in the mirror at her reflection feeling like she was a stranger to herself. She chuckled disappointedly. All this while she had been fooled. The words kept echoing in her mind "you are not alone...... You have a sister who looks exactly like you. Nara was so frustrated. She stormed out of the bathroom and tossed herself on the bed. Mrs Han entered her room looking disturbed . she closed the door and sat down on the edge of nara's bed."are you okay?"she asked looking at her .with a pitiful appearance. ' don't look at me like that it's making me feel so pathetic ' she said, tears forming in her eyes. Why now? why not before? what do you take me for? , she asked question after question feeling like she was about to burst from the anger and confusion. Mrs Han felt a sharp pain in her heart. seeing Nara like this hurt her a lot. Nara sat up and looked at Mrs Han emotionally. Mrs Han couldn't bear to see her like this. Mrs Han finally spoke ' they had to Nara, we had no choice. ......i know your hurt dear and we are sorry but we had to do what was best. Kang nara lay down on the bed again. The room fell silent, the only sound their heavy breathing. ''this Kang naye.......'' she stopped talking then continued ''what is she like?. Mrs Han felt trapped by the question but quickly pulled herself together and said "Kang naye is exactly like you. she doesn't talk much and also sounds like you. " Mrs Han's heart felt even more heavy. The room fell silent again.Mrs Han was lost in thought, too distracted to notice Nara had fallen asleep. Suddenly Mrs Han felt her entire self feel light and more relaxed. seeing this had assured her that Nara would be okay . Morning had come and Kang naye couldn't bring her self to leave her bed, she thought if she slept well she would be okay but unfortunately she felt worser than yesterday. A twin? why now? . she had so many questions but couldn't find an answer to any of them. she thought of what they said to her over and over again slowly losing concentration. "miss Kang...... young madam....... young miss.." a female servant knocked and called naye but naye lost in thought couldn't hear a thing. The girl outside became worried thinking naye must have done something stupid. she quickly ran into the room looking pale and weak. Naye finally came back to her senses upon hearing the door open and close. "oh.. your here"she said looking at the girl before swaying her legs to the side of the bed "what's wrong, miss Lim?....you look worried" "no...no.. nothing" she responded half stammering Nara sighed disappointedly "don't worry I wouldn't think of doing a thing like that." a sad faint smile appeared on nara's lips then disappeared like it wasn't there. she got up and matched to the bathroom leaving the servant with her indifferent back. she entered the bathroom and closed the door.she grabbed her toothbrush and applied some toothpaste and placed it in her mouth. she paused for a moment and stared in the mirror feeling unhappy. she traced her fingers over her face as though it was a stranger's. she let out a cold smirk and continued brushing her teeth. About half an hour later Naye came down stairs walking elegantly like a noble Lady. Han soo mi looked at naye and then at Kang tae moo. "did you sleep well last night?" Soo mi asked avoiding meeting Naye's eyes. "yes I did" she replied as she sat down at the dining table. "morning father" naye said looking at Kang tae moo tae moo cleared his throat and said "good morning sweetheart. " Everyone ate their breakfast in silence and a few minutes later Naye headed to school At evening, Nara sat down on her study desk looking confused. she flipped through the pages quickly but ended up closing it and angrily threw it on the desk . "why is it so frustrating?...." she sighed angrily and crossed her arms. she looked at the test paper and was finally about to understand the question, your almost there Kang Nara, keep going, your close..... come on.. almost ring, ring, ring. Now she was mad. she felt like grabbing the phone and hitting it against the wall but she couldn't even do that. she stared at the phone , planing to let it ring until the caller gave up. But something inside her kept urging her to answer the call. This feeling felt strange and unavoidable, maybe it was her anger finally melting down. she slowly stretched her arm and grabbed the phone, placing it on her ear "hello?" "hello.... Kang Nara" Nara realized it was Kang naye at the other end of the call and for a moment froze "hello..... hello... Kang Nara?." Naye eagerly called. Nara came back to her senses. "oh... I'm sorry... Kang naye? "hmm " "isn't this a little weird?"Nara said half joking "i guess so " Naye responded after a brief laugh Both girls stopped talking and stayed quiet Nara felt like the silence was unbearable and she thought Naye felt it too. Nara couldn't stand it and broke the silence"i wonder what changed " she said sighing disappointedly."what ?" Naye asked feeling confused . "I'm talking about us being a secret.....i wonder what changed." "oh " "it's not that I hate you or anything like that." Nara added afraid Naye might misunderstand her. Naye laughed and said"not at all ". Nara breathed a sigh of relief and smiled to herself "let's talk again later....i have a tutor coming over " Naye said. "okay, that's okay with me "Nara said and like that the call ended
