26. Bria

We are in the car, I’m laughing while listening to Courtney, Bridgett, and Candy talk.

(car talk)

Courtney- “Adams apartment is nice; I wonder if they have any openings?”

Bridgett- “They are really nice.”

candy- “Then Bria would never want to be with us. She would be too busy in the sheets with Adam. She laughs.”

(Obviously joking.)

Courtney- “Speaking of Adam, since when does he call anyone baby or babe.”

I blush but stay quiet. Letting them talk like, I’m not here.

Bridgett- “When have you ever seen Adam care about a girl?”

Courtney- “That's true, I've never seen him like that with anyone until Bria.”

Candy- “That's because He, is crazy about her, and she is crazy about him. I’m telling you they, are going to end up married.” They all stop talking when my phone rings. It's Liam again. I hit ignore I'm not ready, to start this war with him not just yet. I need to make sure I have a place to stay first.

Candy- “Bria you know at some point. You are going to have to answer the phone and tell him how the f**k it is going to be. Then hang up.”

Bridgett- “Candy is right.”

Courtney- “The sooner, the better.”

Bria- “I know, just want to find an apartment with you all first.”

Deep down I know, they are right. I just have to make sure I have a place to go.

We have been apartment shopping for hours. We finally, found a small two bedroom one-bath apartment. Candy, and Bridgett are going to share a room. Courtney is going to have her own room, because this apartment would not even be happening without her. I just need to be able to put my stuff. (If I get any of it back) in someone's closet, and I’ll be fine.

I'm going to sleep on the pull-out couch. The girls tried to argue, telling me “I'm not sleeping on the couch.” We're cut off by my phone ringing. They are all looking at me when I see who it is. I Blush! Saying, “It's Adam”, before I answer the call, Candy tells me to put it on speaker. I laugh, answering the call making sure to put it on speaker.

(Adams call)

Adam – “hey baby, how is apartment hunting going?”

I blush.

Bria- “It's going great, Courtney just got done signing a lease. We can move in at the end of the week. We were actually, getting ready to come back to your apartment.

Candy yells, “Tell her “She isn't sleeping on the couch.”

Adam goes silent. So, I tell him why I'm going to sleep on the couch. When I'm done talking, he says,

Adam- “Well baby, you’re going to be in my bed more, than on that couch.”

All 3 girls look at me. I blush like crazy. I decided to have a little fun with them listening to us.

(He has no clue everyone can hear him.)

Bria- “oh! what are we going to do in this bed I'm always in.”

That gets everyone attention in the car. They all are listening very closely for his reply. Adam is silent for a minute, and I think he hung up until he speaks.

Adam- “well baby, I've had some sexy dreams about you. You best believe we are going to make every one of them come true. You are going to be moaning my name while, I kiss all over that sexy body of yours. Every night I'm going to worship you.”

Candy waves her hand over her face like a fan saying, “Damn! that even made me hot.”

I turn red. Candy is right, this car just got really hot. I am taken a minute too long to answer because Adam speaks.

Adam- “Baby you there?”

Bria- “yes sorry. You just caught me off guard, but I like the sound of that.”

Adam- “So, is Courtney bringing you back?”

Bria- “yea we are getting ready to leave. I will text you, when we are on our way. I’ll see you soon.”

Adam- “ok. see you soon baby.”

Candy yells, “she will be home soon Adam.” Candy said, “home” I think Adam is going to freeze, but he answers right away with. Ok, thank you.
