THE DREADED LOVE

INTRODUCTION

Chris Pete, the heir and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Lair and the Pete Lair's Company known nothing but struggle throughout his life as an heir to the company and only son. Luckily, he has a couple of friends to help him out now and then, as life would be rather boring with no one to spend it with or rather no loved ones around to cheer one up every once in a while. Being an only son and an heir isn't exactly as fun as it may seem from the outside, as a lot of responsibilities come with it. Although he managed and thrived through everything and all things. Just at 18 years old, he was already 6'3 tall, with grand masculine features, handsome, and one of the best and most respected students of Raldo High School. He never did grow up with his parents. He grew up with nannies in Raldo Estate. His parents were scared for his life and sent him far from them. His parents were tourists, aside from being in the mafia family business. Aside from his father's wealth and being an heir, he has already made a name for himself in high places, and in the constitution of Great Teens, which is reportedly run by the most powerful men in Raldo Ville, only the wealthiest of the wealthiest are members alone. Each year, five teens from 16 to 18 years of age get invited and, if they pass the rich test, they will get to be the next big teen in the Great Teens club. Fortunately, he made it this year with his childhood best friend, Julia Collins.

Julia Collins, a childhood best friend to Chris Pete and a new member of the Great Teen club, has quite her history. She became an heiress to her father's wealth after losing her elder brother in a car accident at the age of 5, which occurred years ago. Their family, mostly her father, had believed it to be a plan that was conspiring against him, but unfortunately, the misfortune happened to his only son and his loving wife. His son, Makly Collins, was supposed to be the heir to his wealth and company, but after his loss, Julia had to take over at such a young age. Although she never knew they had died in an accident, as her father had told her then, they died of natural causes, knowing how vengeful she would be, she was rumored to be more fearless and strict than her father. After the incident, Mr. Collins saw no need for his only surviving child and daughter to be in Alfaro Town as he had just lost his son, Makly, 19 years, and his wife Rosanne, 40 years, in what was believed to be a planned accident. He moved his daughter to Raldo Ville in fear of her being the next target of his greatest enemy back in Alfaro Town. Even though Julia was young, she still felt the loss of her precious mother and brother greatly and very badly. She never quite believed her father, saying they died of natural causes as he had stated because she knew what was in the family. They were all in a mafia community. It was obvious from the way she was treated as a princess, with royalty and bodyguards everywhere at such a young age.

Ivy, Katie, Michael, and Jayd all grew up with Chris, while Julia moved into their neighborhood when they were all little children. She moved into the city at age 6, a year after the incident occurred. While Chris was 8 then, Ivy and Katie were age mates with Julia and Michael being 7 years old. Meeting these new friends and moving out from Alfaro Town really helped Julia after the loss of her mom and brother. Although she had moved on from it, she remembered them every once in a while, mostly on their birth date, death date, funeral date, and even on random days. It was as if they were all meant to meet eventually in their lives at some point. They were all very wonderful as they met. As for Ivy and Katie, they were both siblings but different mothers. Their father had married Ivy's mother first but she passed on after giving birth to her, so he married Katie's mom, which was Ivy's mother's dying wish, so her child could have a mother, at least. The mother didn't survive past the following day after giving birth to Ivy. They were both best friends, so it was quite easy to understand, but difficult for Mr. Pel, Ivy's father, as he didn't want to remarry, but he later succumbed to the idea and the same year, Katie was born. Many had thought they were twins, because of the many similarities and characters they shared. Michael, on the other hand, was Chris's cousin and an only child too, as his parents were never around, and always had one business field trip to be on together, they decided to leave him with Chris and the caretakers.

They all had a wonderful friendship. They didn't exactly lack anything. They went to the same high school, grew up in the same neighborhood, and had wealthy parents and also their self-acquired wealth. They were in their final year of high school aside from Katie and Michael, who had to skip a class due to issues. Living the life.

It wasn't always like this, things were not always as honey and milk as they seemed. They had tough times and troubled times, but they did it all together. That was the most important part of their friendship, the loyalty and trust they had in themselves, and love.

Chris was keen on being the next Alpha in his father's business. Although he wasn't always together with his father, business always did find a way to reunite them whenever it was necessary. He followed his father's footsteps sternly as he also made his way to success, but it was always dangerous and rough.

Julia, on her own, had known the truth about her brother and mother's death. She swore to find out who was behind it and put an end to them the same way. Just like her father thought, but this wasn't the end. Julia's father was a powerful lord in his Mafia community, The Sylvias. He had people from different societies and clans working for him. Him, his late wife and late son ran the community together. They believed working as a family strenthened them and indeed it did. They were very powerful, feared and wealthy, until death took away his only wife and son, leaving with a 5-year-old Julia. He knew it was too early to introduce her but he had too. He needed an heir, and he did not want another wife, no matter how hard he was pressured from the council.
