Toby left school early on Thursday to be sure he was home to meet the delivery truck. Everything still missing was on the truck, got delivered and set up. Toby was thrilled. Everything was beautiful and he couldn’t wait for Wayne to see it all. He spent the evening doing a deep cleaning of the whole house. Wayne was delighted to hear the excitement in Toby’s voice when they spoke on the phone.
Friday morning, Toby skipped school and told his teacher he’d make up the hours the following week. He went to the grocery store and bought everything he could think of for his dad’s visit and the dinner Saturday night.
