You’ve gotten yourself into another embarrassing situation, haven’t you?" He shot her a guilty look, then leaned slightly toward her, as if sharing a secret. "I’m really sorry. But, you know, I need you to… test something for me." Lily looked at him with a curious expression. "Test something? You mean, like testing another one of your... questionable projects?" "Not at all! This isn’t questionable!" He gave her a mock serious expression while trying to hold back a smile. "I wrote a poem. And, uh… I’d like you to read it. Just to know what you think." Lily blushed instantly. Jack wrote poems? She would have never guessed. On the other hand, he was so unpredictable. "A poem, huh? I didn’t know you were a poet," she said, raising an eyebrow.
