AMAKA THE DESTINED CHILD: Chapter one: Amaka was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Eugene Isseke. They were six but she was the third child and the second daughter of the family. Eugene and his wife, Stella, were education and also wanted all their children to be educated as well. Luckily, they were civil servants and planned how to train their children so that money would not be a problem. They agreed that Eugene would train the first son, Okey and the first daughter, Ugochi, while Stella would train the third child, Amaka, and the fourth child, Ekene. ‘‘The last two children would be duly taken care of when the time comes,'' Eugene would always say. They really succeeded in fulfilling their plans for on Okey and Ugochi. when it was Amaka turn, there was a problem. Amaka took WAEC and JAMB examinations the same year and performed wonderfully well. she made 9A in WAEC and scored 375 in JAMB. from childhood, her dream course was medicine and she was brilliant enough to study they course. she, as well as every other person, was surprised that she could not gain admission even with the wonderful results and high score. The next year, she took JAMB again and scored 380. Yet, she was not giving admission. That was when Eugene concluded that something must be wrong somewhere. He consulted his friend. Dr. Maxwell Okamelu, a lecturer in the university and give him 350,000 to sort whatever that is worth sorting and secure admission for his daughter. That year also, Amaka did not gain admission. When Amaka knew that the devil was up to something was when some of her mates who scored 320 and below were given admission to study the same course. She cried unto God and sought His face. One night; in a dream, she heard a voice telling her to study history and international studies for that was the course divinely carved out for her. Initially, she did not understand it and could not fathom anything out of the dream. She later become convinced when the dream repeated itself three times. Thereafter, she searched and found out the benefits of studying the suggested course. Through she was very good at science subject, she had the challenge of not liking see blood. The next year, she took JAMB again and choose history and international religions. She did not do very well that year as she Scored 230 but to her and every other person the greatest surprise, she was given admission and was number three on the admission list. She broke the good news to her parents, thinking that they would rejoice with a her but their action dumbfounded her. Her father was very annoyed that she has changed his desire to see her study medicine. Her mother whose turn it was to train are in school was also annoyed with her, not necessarily because you wanted to study history and intentional studies but because Amaka took JAMB severally and did not gain admission, nearby wasting are years. Therefore, she had run out of patience to the point that she lost hope on Amaka and made a saving for her last child, Chidi. Amaka, though sad at parents' dispositions, she was optimistic that she must be in school that year. How? She could not tell but she strongly believed that with God, everything is possible. She vividly remembered the the experience of her friend, Ginikachukwu and had strong faith that she could be a graduate one day. chapter two. Ginikachukwu was very brilliant girl but her parents were not well to do she desired to study medicine but due to her parents financial constraint she became demoralised and wanted to give up. one day, she told Alice , her close friend , what she was passing through. Alice advised her to meet her uncles, she assured her that help might come from them. Ginikachukwu was very happy at the useful advise Alice gave her because such thought never crossed her mind
