Chapter 21: The Blue Roses
“This is the village?!” Arth covered his mouth in amazement. They now arrived at the entrance of Winterrun in the far north of the White Forest. It took them the whole night traveling since they need to keep moving. The Frostguard might catch up if they somehow tracked the Forgotten Winter. Arth just slept during the night while he was on Robert’s back riding his horse. He managed to rest and regain his lost energy just enough for him to move. It was already morning but heavy snow was falling since they were now in the far north. “Who’s there and what’s your business here?“ the armed guard in the entrance asked in a loud voice. Lucas handed the guard a scroll and let him read it. The boss has his hood on and covered his mouth using a mask to avoid being recognized.
