Actor Ryder Sterling's stately home looks like a striking blend of a medieval palace and a modern villa. It has a central gatehouse, towers and turrets reminiscent of medieval castles.
However, modern touches such as sleek floor-to-ceiling windows and metallic accents bring a contemporary touch to what would have otherwise been a traditional architecture.
"What do you think?" the actor asks as we step out of the car and I get a even more clearer view of his childhood home. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth no doubt.
"This looks like King Uther Pendragon's palace," I say teasingly. "Are you sure your parents will approve of your dressing?"
