White blanket of snow started covering up the forest as i settled in the smallest cave i happen to stumble while running away from hunters. And the irony of life fin'lly hit me hard. Right on my damn face! Months ago, i am the son of the proudest hunter of the whole north america and now, i am a mutt with black fur. I heard a huff at the back of my mind. Ever since, i never felt so alone in my head anymore. I always feel him, though i can't see him, i know he was there. 'my wolf!' I shifted my position as my lips made a soft whimpers. I was shot on my leg and being a wolf isn't a big help, i know my body was trying to heal but, it could'nt properly do so if the bullet was stay stuck piercing beneath my skin every now and then. "Desmond let's go back now!" There's a shuffling not too far from me as my heart instantly jolt right on the back of my throat. I'm hungry and not well rested so running isn't on my top priority right now. "Someone entered our boundaries!" the other voice countered and that's when i heard the most beautiful voice i had ever hear. My wolf perked but i forced him to stay low. I can't allow him to get us caught. I'm too exhausted right now. "Go back now, i could deal with it." And there's loud shuffling as the sound of paws running at the dead branches of trees followed. But i remained still not wanting to get myself in anymore trouble. "Who are you?" demanded by that voice again as i felt him approach nearer. My wolf whimpered at the sound. So comforting- so dangerous. I felt so trapped, damn it! Never in my life Alastair le roux felt unsecure as this. The moment my eyes met the most beautiful man ever existed i was put into silence. As the scent of mint and cinnamon started revitalizing my senses. I don't know what was happening, my mind was screaming danger but my heart whispered otherwise. His eyes dilated and i bare my fangs, pushing my wolf aside as i growled to the stranger in front of me. His eyes shifted then i was tackle down with a big white wolf on top of me. I am big but he was twice bigger and having him hover me dangerously put me and my wolf into submission. He was demanding and powerful. 'don't ever challenge me like that pup!' H-how? His ebony eyes bore unto me, freezing the beating muscle inside my chest on the spot. The logical part of me scream to squirm and get away but my body remained still on his grasp. He let out few low growls before he shifted back to his human form. His jaws tensed as his body went rigid like he was under internal battle with himself. And when he shifted back to me, he was wearing this kind of blank expression. Terrifyingly blank. "Shift!" I didn't have time to understand his word nor have time to comprehend before a great pain from cracking of bones and other part of my body begun filling up my mind. I fell on my knees, curling and gasping for air, hoping for it to go away. Or even waiting for death to come and reap the hell out of my sinner self. I rather be in hell than to be like this!
