Cursed

My troops cheered to the sight of the burning town. All corpse filed at the center of the town, men, women, children and old. They are all lying down burning together with their town. My stomach churned at the sight but all i did is swallow the forming lump of fussiness on my chest. Killing wolves is the only thing i knew and this is something i am used to but, killing still make me feel sick. "Alastair, your father would be proud" my second in command tapped my shoulder and i just flashed him a quick smile before dismissing everyone to go back in our camp. On our way, i spot a woman dragging herself along the dark meadow, she was badly damaged and sure as hell, i knew she came from that pack. My chest swelled as the sight as my hand itch, ready to snap the life out of her. Ignoring her physical visage, all i could see is the monster they are trying to hide but i knew better. With a quick grin, i pulled out a g*n lower it to her head. Everything was muted that i wasn't able to catch her cries and pleads then, i pulled the trigger- killing her right on her spot. It don't feel good but not bad either, i just feel nothing honestly. Then everything happen in a blink of an eye, one moment i was standing and the next, i was tackled to the ground by half human and half beast. His eyes were dark and he was screaming as if he already lost it. Before i was able to react, a sharp pain dug its way on my shoulder blade ripping my flesh as he shook his head. My mind was clouded by pain as i realized that this might be my end. Suddenly, everything about me was turning cold and i'm losing control in every part of my body. But before i was get engulfed, a pure white wolf appear on my sight. Everything was blurry aside from its magnificent green eyes, blending in to the vivid forest. And the wolf turns to a beautiful girl in silk, with crescent shape glowing on her forehead. Her tears trickle down as she leaned down to the corpse of a man and a woman a few feet from me. The wolf that attacked me committed suicide after damaging me severely. I watch closely as i tried to grasp on my breath. The pain was becoming more and more unbearable as i approach my end yet all i can do is wait. A cold hand snatch me away from all the delusions forming on my mind, she's drawing comfort on my face where her trail left and when i met her eyes, she was staring at me with so much softness. "I-i killed your children" i managed. But her smile show better. My heart burned inside my chest, giving hints that things aren't right. I'm not winning and never will be. I woke up feeling sore all over my body. Dried blood covered my upper limbs as i tried to shake the matted stuffs. But before i was able to think straight, two large paws greeted my eyes and this very moment I knew I am cursed. Panic started building on my chest as I tried to look for the small clearing that sat not too far from where I laid. But what startled me is to see a reflection of an ebony wolf watching me. His eyes in the shade of silver shot me like bullets. And i lost it. Instead of screams, my lips let out an agonizing howl. How could something like this happen to me? For God's sake! This is worse than death! I immediately run away, jumping at the ashes of the town once standing there proudly. I couldn't let my comrades see me in this situation. They would kill me cause that's how we're trained for.
