'YOU DID WHAT?!' my mother shouted as she pushed the doors of my office with force. F*ck. It's been a long time to hear her shouting with her face being bright red. Sooner or later I knew I would have this conversation.
'Mother.' I said looking at her. She looked like she did not even hear me as she continued shouting at me. I deserved every single word that came out of her mouth. I did not have the strength to cut her off. I waited until she finished calling me ungrateful, unfaithful, a piece of s**t, uncapable of love and all the kind words anyone can imagine. When she finally finished I got up and went next to her while she tried to catch her breath.
