Loxley’s Point of View
As I hurried to my next class, I could feel eyes on me. I casually glanced over my shoulder and saw Lilith, the girl who was staying with Jason and Emily. I wondered if she understood how fortunate she was to be living with the owners of the Meeting Grounds. I didn't know her personally, only what I had heard about her. It was a tragic story how she ended up here, and I felt sympathy for her. However, there was also a nagging feeling inside me that made me want to be cautious around her. So, that's what I would do.
