Lilith’s Point of View
My head was filled with thoughts of Jax as I plopped down in my seat. We had plans to meet up at lunch and have a meal together. I couldn't wait to give him those cookies. Even though I didn't want to label our relationship because it could lead to trouble, it was becoming clear that it might be too late for that. Juniper's reaction and my constant daydreaming about Jax were just some reasons why. It was hard to focus on anything else.
I desperately tried to push my thoughts away and focus on something else. My mind wandered to the two girls who had entered the classroom ahead of me. Part of me wanted to get to know them, but another part urged me to keep a safe distance. I couldn't understand why I felt this internal conflict towards them.
