He breathes deeply and continued to walk on the empty hallway. It lessens the thoughts that is troubling his head because of the strange events. But, there's one thing he forgot about the power he just had from the demon.
Hands are pointed down and swinging a little, the dagger suddenly reappeared to his right hand, making him surprised for the third time.
It was created by a small twirling burst of flame, starting from the bottom of the dagger's handle up to its tip.
“What?” he looked at it and panickingly looked around, fearing that others or any surveillance cameras might see him holding a dagger. He was lucky again because he was out of range from the surveillance cameras sight.
He quickly hid the dagger behind his back hip, by pointedly inserting its blade and covered it properly with his coat, then he pulled out his phone from his left leg pocket and placed it over his left ear.
“Hey Vincent!” one of his friends saw Vincent came out from the hallway holding a phone on his left ear.
“Hey uh, my uncle is calling me,” his right hand's pointing finger pointed up his phone, “I'll be back later.”
“Okay!” he nodded up and looked back to other friends drinking with him on their table.
Vincent headed out to the front door of the bar, and took a deep sigh when he got out.
He saw the place is lightened up by small bulbs attached everywhere on the trees, post, walls and other objects near the bar. There are several people spending time relaxing outside with their friends too.
Vincent put back his phone into the same pocket, walked away and looked around to see if there's a place that no one is there to see his secret stuff.
As he turned a look to the west, a shoreline bridge showed up on his sight. It's far away from the bar and no one else can be seen spending a moment in there, so he decided to go there.
The bridge was built for the boats to dock. It also lightened up by eight yellow light bulbs for everyone to see.
(Ocean waves splashes)
Vincent stood at the end of the bridge and there he decided to throw down the dagger into the water that is covered by darkness.
His unbuttoned coat and hair sways with the cool breeze of wind as it passes through them.
When the dagger fell down and swallowed by the water, he stared down at it with his right hand opened, thinking if the dagger will reappear again.
A small bright light showed up beneath the darkness of the water, Vincent saw it and the dagger reappeared again back to his right hand.
He saw how it was created by the flame, and he felt somewhat amazed. He turned around and looked if someone saw or able to see him from there, but there's none.
Vincent tried getting rid of it again, by throwing it far away from his distance. The dagger fell to the ocean after flying in a trajectory, and the same thing happened.
It reappeared back to his same hand.
He's now starting to feel confuse of what possible solution could help him to get rid of it.
(Ocean waves splashes continuously)
Vincent decided to throw it away repeatedly for some time, until a drunk guy saw him from a far distance.
He was looking out for Vincent and there he saw him doing something wierd at the end of the shoreline bridge.
He noticed a small bright light, that keeps on showing up on Vincent's right hand everytime he throws the same object to the ocean.
“Uh-huh?” he wonderingly watches Vincent while standing outside of the bar. Later, he immediately headed to the bridge with unsteady movement like a zombie.
“Hey!” he shouted from a far distance while holding a beer on his right hand.
“Hey!, hey Vincent!. What are you doing there man?!” he shouted again but louder.
Vincent didn't heard his voice and continuously throws the dagger.
“Vincent!,” he finally reached the bridge, “what's that thing?!”
Vincent was startled after hearing his voice. He quickly turn around, hide the dagger behind his back hip, and acted normally in front of his friend as he walks forward, “Uh-hey Miguel, why are you here?”
“What's that light?, and that thing on you're hand?” he walked closer to Vincent.
Chuckles, “Huh?” he noticed the beer on Miguel's hand.
“Let me see it.” he tried to check Vincent's back.
Chuckles, “Uh wait, I think you're drunk.” Vincent steps back a little and blocks Miguel's hands that are about to grab his coat.
“Come'on let's go back to the bar.” his left hand taps Miguel's right arm.
“Huh?” but Miguel blocks it, “I'm not drunk. I saw it man, let me see it.” and insisted.
Chuckles, “Dude, you're drunk. That's only my phone's torch.” Vincent tried to change what Miguel was thinking although he knows that he got busted.
“Its behind you,” he pointed out Vincent's back, “I told you I'm not drunk.” he tried to take a look again by forcing Vincent to show his back to him.
“Hey stop it.” Vincent refuses and pushes him a little.
“Don't fool me man, I know what I saw.” Miguel takes another drink of his beer.
“Okay. If you're not drunk, then why are you moving like a dizzy person?” he wonderingly stares at Miguel.
“Huh?, well um... I'm not really drunk okay?,” he wobbles his head as he shakes his empty hand shortly “but why don't you let me see it?”
Sighs, his eyes changes direction “It's nothing. Let's go back.”
Their conversation is starting to heat up because of Miguel's behavior, and Vincent still didn't allowed him to get what he wanted.
