“Uncle Bill,” Stone said, “we need some help.”
“What is it?”
“We just came from the Annapolis cemetery. We found the grave site.”
“And?”
“It had been dug up.”
Bill looked over the tops of his glasses.
Talia said, “They wouldn’t tell us who ordered it, but apparently the exhumation occurred in the middle of the night.”
“When?” Jana asked.
Stone answered. “Late last night. They wouldn’t share much information with us. Said the exhumation order came from the top.”
Knuckles stood. “Why would anyone dig up a grave in the middle of the night?”
