On the night of her wedding,Subhasini Johnson sat on the edge of the bed with a bitter taste of wine in her mouth that extended deep into the bottom of her heart. Her younger sister, Kousini Johnson, was unwilling to marry the monstrous eldest son of the Evan Family, so her father had asked Subhasini to take her younger sister's place instead. Since it was a simple wedding, and all she had to do was sign the marriage contract paper, therefore it was easier for them to replace the bride. After signing the marriage registration, she was directly carried into the Evan Residence, without a wedding ceremony. There wasn't any kind of celebration for her wedding or wedding guests. It was like a bride who couldn’t rise to the occasion, making her utterly disappointed with the Johnson Family. She was in deep thought about how she ended up here, but just then, the creak of the door being pushed open interrupted her thoughts, and she looked up to meet a man’s long, narrow, and sharp black eyes. It was Ryan Evan, her newly wedded husband. He was tall and slender but not that burly, whereas his angular face and tightly compressed lips made him look cold, arrogant, standoffish and egoistic, just like a commanding hawk in the dark night. However, his originally handsome face was regrettably marked by a scar. It ran from his forehead to his chin but it was a little left-sided, lending him an air of ferocity. Subhasini subconsciously averted her eyes under his penetrating gaze. Suddenly, he said with absolute certainty, “You aren’t Kousini Johnson.” The lady before his eyes was obviously more beautiful than Kousini. Subhasini instinctively put out her hands and gestured something at him. But Ryan frowned at her and asked “What are you doing?” Subhasini was startled for a moment. It was only then did she realize, with the benefit of hindsight, that he couldn’t understand her sign language. After delivering an embarrassed smile, she took out the paper and pen she had brought with her from her father's office where she signed the marriage registration. She wrote down a sentence, and showed it to him. The next instant, she saw the man’s completely cold eyes. He let out a disparaging smile and said, “What does Logan Johnson mean by this? He clearly knows that I want Kousini, yet he dared to send a mute, illegitimate daughter over on purpose?” The words ‘mute, illegitimate daughter’ caused Subhasini’s breath to pause, and she slowly dropped her eyes over her lap. The next moment, the man slowly walked towards her and lifted her chin with his forefinger and asked with a voice as chilly as the water in winter, “Does the Johnson Family think I’m so easy to fool?” Subhasini’s tiny hands clenched into fists. He is furious. As father said. Well, who will not? If they get to know that their partner has been substituted. Is he going to throw me out right away? If that’s the case, what about Grandma’s medical expenses? Father won't spare me. She thought to herself. She wanted to explain everything, but she could only feel her throat tighten under the man’s chilling gaze. As her eyes slowly dimmed, the man walked towards the couch and suddenly ordered, “Come here.” This is it.. Is he allowing me to stay? Subhasini was delighted at first, but she then thought of what she was about to face. She slowly became nervous, and a thin sheen of sweat coated her palms. Isn't it natural? This is what every couple does on their wedding night. Subhasini was convincing herself about the upcoming event. Upon seeing her hesitation, Justin thought she had misunderstood him. He then demanded impassively, “I’m very displeased with the fact that your family has substituted the bride with someone else. But now that you’re already married to me, you have to fulfill your obligations as my wife. I am accepting you as my wife just because Logan Johnson is your father. I have no objection as long as you are Logan Johnson's daughter. I care even though you are the illegitimate one. ” Subhasini bit her lower lip and slowly moved to the bed to lay flat, and then turned her face to the left. Then, she heard a mocking laugh. Ryan’s eyes narrowed slightly, and his voice turned grim. “What are you waiting for?” Subhasini suppressed her emotions and slowly walked up to him, but she accidentally tripped over her wedding dress and scraped his skin with her clumsy fingers. Suddenly, Ryan grabbed her wrist and stepped close in on her. “Did you do it on purpose?” Subhasini was dumbfounded for a moment. Then, she shook her head with confusion. As Ryan stared at her, another pair of clear and bright eyes unwittingly appeared in his mind, reminding him of the Johnson Family. The chief culprit, who had destroyed those very eyes. And why had he married her? He promptly smirked and said, “I had no intention of touching you tonight, but since you can’t stand being lonely, I think I can only help you out. Moreover, as you are my wife now, I should help you out with this.” By saying that, Ryan lifted Subhasini and marched towards the bed. Placing her on the bed, he said, "There wasn't any ceremony or any bow, but I promise you tonight, as long as you behave like a good obedient girl as you are known for, I will take care of you from tonight. And if I can't get things as I want, I will make sure that you will pay for everything and make you regret substituting your place as a bride. Do you understand me?" Nodding a little, Subhasini agreed with his words. After getting her approval, he slowly leaned towards her lips and said exactly from over her lips "let's give you the wedding promise kiss". After that, he kissed her. But after a few moments later, that kiss turned into a hot make-out session. Slowing, opening her wedding gown, he removed his blazer. Then every single piece of cloth was removed by following them. After kissing her, he slowly moved downward. By licking and biting her, he tends to mark her. By saying that, he slowly turned the night pleasurable and steamy for both of them. As for Subhasini, it was a bit confusing whichever way he was throwing wards towards her, but one thing she clearly understood was this man who was pleasing her and himself tonight he is not easy to deal with.
