Thee Random Words

00 - THREE, RANDOM, WORDS Three Random Words is, or attempts to be, a collection of individual, self-standing stories based on and tied together as a whole by three random words, as the title suggests, which are graciously supplied by my friends, family, acquaintances, or random strangers that may come in contact with me in some or other social interaction. Each story is dedicated to the conceptor of the words, which are the basis for the story idea. The intention of Three Random Words is to improve my writing skills, as much in the development of ideas, plots, characters, as in developing my writing style and grammatical structure and complexity. For some years now, writing has been greatly therapeutical for me in the sense of giving me a creative outlet and focusing my mind on something other than just daily issues of professional and personal life. I am not an eloquent speaker, I find it much easier to express myself in the written form. Which is why I will most likely never be a t****k sensation, but, oh, well, we all have our crosses to bear. Giving myself the challenge of posting new stories within a consistent timeframe provides me with just that – an increased sense of consistency and improved discipline. And trust me, neither being consistent nor discipline come naturally to me. The initial schedule is to post a new story every two weeks, on one day of the weekend. Alas, my life does not enable more frequent engagement.
