My browser took a few interminable seconds to think before loading the page. Uncle Ed’s Forum hadn’t been crafted with beauty in mind; the layout was in an old-school design style, the background a dark, stormy gray and the text in bright, contrasting red. I snorted at the graphic emblazoned on the top of the page: a goofy-looking cartoon of a man peering through a magnifying glass, his cheeks florid and dark mustache bristling. No doubt this was the eponymous Uncle Ed.
And then I started reading. The opening post, a lengthy stretch of text, had been written by D_plexippus himself, his avatar the image of a monarch butterfly resting on a twig. The information was all old news to me, exactly the same story as D_plexippus had laid out in his video, save that August Rufner’s name
