ABBYSahra led the way to the entrance of the animal park. It was really just a gate flanked by tall, garishly pink fences on either side.
"The colour signals poisonous to most Kyven animals," Sahra explained. "They don't come near it."
"That's nifty. How do your Earth animals react to it?"
She smirked. "They couldn't care less about the colour of the fence. One of them, the Colonel, keeps trying to topple it, but he's not quite strong enough."
"Wait, I heard about him, he’s the zoo’s star attraction. An elephant, right?"
"Yes. He's a big softie. But I spend most of my time with the felines. They're adorable."
