I stared wide-eyed as Jed continued to lean in towards me. His face lowering inch by inch .His lips almost brushing mine. I was obviously not going to give him the liberty.
Ina single , sharp motion , I jerked upward , using all the strength I had left.The suddenness of it caught him off guard and he staggered backward, losing his balance for a moment.
This gave me a chance to escape out of the building towards the main road.
I turned and bolted out of the room, sprinting down the corridor and out of the building . I didn't think , I just ran.
It didn't matter as long as I was away from the monster. I wanted to be so far away from him. This was the real last moment I needed. I didn't care how far I went as long as I was away from him.
