Chapter 24
RACHEL'S POV It has been two weeks since my fight with Kenneth and since the girls sleep in our house from time to time. Claire and Jessica were really trying their best to cheer me up, and it's working. Kenneth stopped bothering me last week, but spending more time with the girls made me happy enough to forget about our fight for a while. Today is Saturday, and Jessica is taking us to go shopping together. We're doing the usual girls' hang out today. "Don't you guys think we should get our nails done?" Claire suggested, and we looked at our nails. "Ooh. My nails need it," Jessica said as she scrunched up her face in disgust while looking at her nails. "And we deserve it," I said, smiling.
