.Dominic I woke up panting and sweat dripping off my temple. Deciding to go for my morning run as I did always. I ran around the territory, members I meet bow or their wolves whimpers in fear. Two years ago, on this day, I killed him, I killed the man I loathed the most in this world. I need to throw a big party. I hear my wolf snarl in displeasure, but I ignore him, he hates people. Reaching my border, I lie my back on the ground as I recounted the events that had happened since. 'What do we do about the solace pack?' My wolf asked, I sigh. Their stupid alpha left them for death and ran like a coward, he's just like his father, however, it has been a year now and I'm sure he's died. I went back to the room and headed straight into the shower, I got ready for work and just when I was getting my car keys, the door swung open. " Good morning, Alpha," Lily greeted, I nodded my response. I have slept with her once but I think she caught feeling despite telling her not to. I don't fall in love, I just find a woman who can satisfy me and my wolf, no strings attached, no nothing. Love is weak, it hurts and is cruel. Liliana looked at me up and down, I furrowed my eyebrows at her. " Do you need something?" I asked her, my voice a monotone. She smiled and walk closer, raising her hands to fix my tie but I cut her. " Don't do that, I always tell you this," I snarled. She goes all wifey on me and I'm avoiding that. Lily is my gamma's sister, she's tall beautiful, and strong alright but I can't be with her and risk falling in love, that's why I can't bed a woman twice. I doubt if I can ever fall in love, I'm sure my heart is as cold as ice now. I left her standing there dumfounded. I drove to the office and all the staff I meet scurry away or quiet as I passed. I liked that I make them quiver at the sight of me that way no one dares to take advantage of me. I sighed as the door opened, revealing my beta. " This isn't your bedroom, do you have no manners at all, John?" I asked, he rolled his eyes and plop into one of the seats opposite me. " Sour mood?" He questioned. "Well nothing different there," I chose to ignore him and continued reviewing the paperwork on my desk but I could feel his gaze on me. I snapped my eyes to him and asked. " What? If you have something to say, do it and leave," I grounded. He smiled tightly. Seriously, why am I friends with this guy? Oh yes, we grew up together and our mothers were best friends. " We caught the rogues that have been attacking the solace pack," he informed me, I sighed and gave him my attention now. " Where are they?" I asked, rogues are such a disease, just like vampires that need to be exterminated. " I want them dead," I ordered and he squinted his eyes at me. " All of them?" He asked, I hate repeating myself so I ignore him again. They killed a lot of wolves. " Should we know who sent them?" He scowled. I already know who sent them, it's the alpha of the sky moon pack, that man has been wanting to bring me down for a long time and any pack affiliated to me but I have a plan for him, I'll send him to his early grave just like I do my enemies. " Okay, boss," nodded John, he started to walk out of the room but I cut him. " Wait, I want to hear their screams. I'll come and watch," I smiled tightly at him this time, he cleared his throat and asked the question he had on his mind. I knew he would, any reason to celebrate. " Are we not partying today?" He looked innocent as he asked. I nodded and asked the finance department to write out a cheque. " Three days celebration," I declared and his face lit up like a kid in a toy store. It is a good day today, the day I killed my father. My beta smiled and hurriedly left the room, maybe scared I might change my mind. I heard him giving orders on his phone. My pack members love to celebrate and drink. We do this every year since he died. I finished work early and found missed calls from Andrew, my Gamma. Later around 6 pm, I went to the dungeon to witness the death of the rogues, I decided to go for a run again, I use the back roads not far from the mountain, it's not too far from my territory and it's very peaceful, I come here often to think. I could hear the chirping of the birds as I ran, reaching my destination, I sat on the border and closed my eyes, I found myself missing her. Damn, I need to clear my head from the woman. But how can I? The first time I saw her dance was on my friend's birthday. I don't go to such places but Andrew and John insisted and it was their birthday so I did. After that day, I've been going there once a week, only to watch her, I've never seen her face without a mask, she has beautiful honey brown eyes and beautiful cherry lips, the way she moves her waist, I don't even want to think about that. A rustle from the bush snapped me out of my thoughts, I listened carefully, my wolf alert as he scanned our surroundings. ' that smell,' he snarled in disgust, Why didn't I catch it sooner, it smells like blood and rogues here. My ears perk up again and I heard soft whimpers. I followed it and my breath hitched for a second at what I saw
